back again have taken back my 3rd vpx because of poor battery, wont last longer tahn 24hrs without talking down to 12 when talking, love the phone its exceptional but motorala need to scream to their battery supplier because they are loosing customers, its no good if you have to have it plugged in when you want to talk, their supposed to be mobile phones

GREAT phone crap battery

I'm also in Australia. I've just upgraded to a RAZR2 V9x from my RAZR V3xx that chose to "keypad die" and go spastic two weeks after the warranty expired (rolls eyes in annoyance @ the irony). Anyway, my question is, if someone would be so kind as to shed some light, how can i turn off the keypad beeps? The only way i've found a way around the mind-numbing beep beep beep of every keystroke is to put it on Vibrate. But that's not practical as i need to hear a ring. There's nothing in Settings as an Option.

The phone feels solid and works good, On the other hand its typical razr battery life which is crap. So keep a charger in your car and office if you use many minutes of talk time. As for the music player, not the best maybe a 7 on a 1 to 10 scale. Improvement still needed on that. as for the user interface, same thing as before, very simple and not much needed there. Over all Id give this phone a 7 As for the memory card, I have a 16 Gig card in and it works fine.

> In reply to [deleted post]Where do you live? The phone is only available in US (officially) through AT&T and other authorized AT&T distributors such as Wal-Mart. (try walmart.com)

After a seize of bulky Nokia's for over 10 years,I find the V9 far superior to anything I have had previously. I get great reception with no static or fade in the same areas that I had these problems with Nokia. Also, in Bluetooth, I had to have the Nokia phone very near the earpiece or there would be reception breakup. The V9, no problem. I got my V9 2 weeks after they came out and find it to be a great phone. Battery life with the Nokia's were no better even though they had less features.
