Yes and N93 is the ugliest brick i've ever seen. People would laugh at you when you show off that huge beast.

> In reply to 100 Moto @ 2008-10-20 02:23 from Er2MThe best flip phone is STILL the NOKIA N93, its still at the top of the log of the OpenGL chart as the best device at graphics acceleration PLUS it had:
TV-Out
3.2mp Carl Zeiss Cam with 3x Optical Zoom
Laptop Mode
2.4inch screen
Wi-Fi b/g with UPnP
Large 1100mAh Li-Po battery
Video recording AND playback at VGA 30FPS
Stereo sound recording (2 mics)
And best of all Symbian S60v3 making at FAR more versatile and functional software and hardware wise than any MOTO! So the All Mighty NOKIA still rule even when it comes to flip phones, not a single moto can stand its ground against the mighty N93.

Best phone I've ever had, I've had nothing but problems with both lg and nokia, hated my first motorola but the v9 restored my faith in their brand!

> In reply to John @ 2008-10-19 22:04 from 2x5dEach brand has its specialty, and Moto is good with its flip phone.

No upgrade for Razor? From the "plain" V3, V3i, V3X, V6, V8, V9. V9X...from 0.3mp cam with no external memroy, to 2.0mp (not a lot for sure) and 8GB external memory, 2G to 3.5G...small external mon to 2.0" and most importantly for a phone...Crystal Talk....you call all of the above being no upgrade?

Think about when was the last time the almighty brand offered a (top-of-the-line) flip phone? N76? How was the quality? Paint kept coming off? Flip can't be fully opened with headphone plugged in?

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-10-19 05:07 from 2GaMQuite inconvenient, though V9x should support video call with single cam like V9...which I'm using.

For outgoing call, one has to dial the v-call and then close the flip.

For incoming call, simply answer the v-call without opening the flip.

Two cams are better than one cam, one cam is better than no cam...that's all folks.

If you looking for today generation phone why you are not looking at Samsung / Nokia and so on. Motorola is phone in past. They been making RAZR I do not know for how long. They do not even upgrade the RAZR. Only upgrade the pacakge and not the preformance. Even company has been for sell but no one buy it.

It says you can do videocalling but I don't see how that's possible since there is no secondary camera.

Motorola should produce a flip phone sized between this wide V9 & the narrow K3(a very nice phone & easy to pocket). But the screen size must be at least 2.2 inches!

Motorola should also improve the look of all those ugly icons! Should copy the look of icons from SonyEricsson or even Motorola own A1200 Ming!!!

People buy these kind of fones for communication. AGPS, 3G CrystalTalk, etc. Some are not there to maintain it's price. Moto has good features at a very low price. I mean, who needs a 3.2mp camerafone when you already have a Sony digital camera? Peace out!

Looks like an upgraded version of V9 with GPS...actually, Z9 with AGPS!

Another upgrade is the expandable memory of up to 8GB, which, according to my experience with past Moto phones, that "implies" the phone actually supports 16GB external memory.

Personally I don't care much about the 2mp cam as much as the secondary cam for video-call...which somehow Moto didn't put one in for V9. (even low-end VE538 has one!)

I just bought a V9 for USD250 (no contract, uunlocked) last month. So I'll get a V9x only...if it drops below USD250!

I think it's actually a good start from Motorola to comeout model with GPS but they should improve the camera and same goes to the WIFI function. So far I didn't find any good 'flip phone' that come with gps and wifi. Please inform if there is. Thanks.

I Just hope that they will have a non crippled (at&t) unlocked version - would not spend the money on getting a phone that would not let me use any applications or at least would make it very hard and annoying to use them.
