In his case, he is able to get connected to the router but fail to get access to the internet.
When it comes to network connection, its about trail-&-error.

amazing phone. Slim, fast. ICS coming soon. Battery life can be short when using a lot of internet stuff (Weather, live wallpaper sync with weather, twitter, facebook, email push, etc) but matched with the Motorola Smart Action, its way better. Overheat on car dock when its hot outside. I drop the phone from 2 feet on concrete and the glass broked.

> In reply to Bob @ 2012-05-21 22:24 from LHgA - click to readI did not install any battery saving app.
My cell can last me a day comfortably with about 2hrs of web browsing, about 20min of calls & few texting.
When I play web-base Google+ Crime City, the cell gets really hot & the battery can last about 2hrs on a full charge.
So, its really depends on what app u are running with the cell. Don't just grumble about the weak battery.

Hey Motorola Mobility, when will our effin' ICS roll out? Aren't you (Moto-Mobility) guys tired of all this "wait & see" mentality while the competition ravages all the glory, customer loyalty & profits in front of you??? If only this model was released before or exactly a few months after GS2, this model coud've been the life-saver for Motorola as a whole, but then again, they chose to wait & see what the competition was up to & just hop on the dual core bandwagon a little too late... Dont get me wrong, I love this specific model, but Moto have better be more aggressive enough to take on the Android trendsetters & reap more customer loyalty in the long run... Oh by the way, the unlocked bootloader would also win more customer hearts...

Some routers are equipped with dual band frequency, i.e. 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz.
To access the internet, u should be connected to the router through 2.4Ghz bandwidth.
The 5Ghz bandwidth can be used to access your NAS or other storage to stream media or files to your cell.

> In reply to Wreck @ 2012-05-19 06:18 from w47J - click to readYour problem seem tricky.
1. Your cell can connect to the router but can't access internet.
2. Your cell can connect to other routers & access internet.
3. No problems with other devices connect to the 1st router and surf the internet.
I'm not certain if there is any settings in the router GUI to restrict your cell from accessing to the internet. Meaning, u still can connect to the router to access other devices within the network but not the internet.

> In reply to BlueHeart the illest @ 2012-05-18 17:51 from LBSF - click to readI totally agree! My local Carphonewarehouse store only has ONE RAZR XT910 on display, and that is at the back of the store where nobody can see it. When I tried to use it I found that it was turned OFF!
I know CPW get their profits from selling the likes of Apple and Samsung phones, but Motorola doesn't even get a look in!

Motorola literally does no advertising! I didn't even know it was available in my country until I walked into a random store and saw it on display.
The only time I ever see their phones being advertised is when a US carrier is selling them and those commercials haven't been on since the Razr was newly released, and it didn't even show how good the phone was. It just had a bunch of action movie crap.
Motorola needs to learn from Samsung...no better yet learn from Apple. They are the only ones that ones that have commercials that show of what their phone can do.
I'm not saying for them 2 advertise in each country, just show off their phone in a few commercials on international stations that will likely been seen globally.

> In reply to Wreck @ 2012-05-15 09:24 from w47J - click to readKeep the security to WEP. Try changing the wireless channel to 1, 6, 9 or 11 (11 is preferred). Also check if there is any MAC address block enabled on the router..
Hope this helps..
