When disconnecting the phone from my computer the quickest way to have the phone respond so that I can use it is to unplug from the computer, remove the back and take the battery out and restart the phone this only takes 3 minutes before I can use the phone again, otherwise it just sits there "Please wait" displayed for in excess of 10 minutes. Yes I use the "Safely Remove Hardware" option on the computer. Diappointing!!!!!!

Ask your phone service provider to increase the number of seconds your phone neds to ring. FYI - with most service providers in North America, you can call your voicemail and there will be an option for "account preferences" where you can change this setting yourself

Does this phone VE 538 enable the user to increase the length of time the ringtones rings? Mine rings for 3 seconds, Rarely am I able to answer a call.

its a very simple and nice phone..the camera is quite ok...easy to look up for frens number on the phone..give it a try...maybe the best secondary phone for private use

When they are called you the sound it(he,she) is rising little by little of volume.

this one from the company is giving trouble to consumers.it has a huge software problem, and the driver provided by the company is not working and to add to it it can't be found on net. so those who are thinking to buy it, think twice. i would say don't even think about it. a complete waste of money

This phone is a copy of BenQ-Siemens E71,release in 2006,only few minor changes...
