hey, I've got a Moto W230, which is it's predecessor, I haven't seen this phone yet, but on the specs I've read, it's no different to the W230, just the design of the phone itself, and it does have a 2.5mm jack instead of a 3.5mm, priced at only PHP2,000 to 2,500 or maybe lower... it doesn't come free with a memory card (c'mon guys! it's one of the cheapest phone in the market with an MP3 and memory card support! that should count for something!... don't ask for a free memory card on this one!)
anyways, I have no problem using my phone, maybe when you're trying to connect to the GPRS, you don't have the correct settings, you see, the W230 is somewhat only able to connect to SMART and not GLOBE GPRS, maybe this phone works the same? and about the software, the phone supports USB Mass Storage once you've got a memory card, it should be UPnP, that is, the phone installs its driver automatically when you connect it to PC with a USB cable...
hmmm... I suggest you read the specs and reviews on the W230, I just think it's just the same phone.

keypads are hard to press specially the # key. and when you are typing really fast, letters cant keep up with your speed. and sometimes, instead of getting the letters you want, you will get a different one. (software problem??)

i have actually seen this phone. And I can definitely say that i don't like it. The display is not that great. The screen, for me,is too small. I was going to buy this phone but when I tested it, i backed out.

Ey Guys, Im planning to buy this phone before christmas, but im still undecided because I have no full accurate specifications of the phone, I know already that it is cheap and can play mp3 files. But i want more actual usage comments and reviews from you guys, can WMA files be played? does it have excellent stereo speakers and headset? I hope to your from you guys.

stated here that it has 3.5-mm audio jack but it is actually 2.5 mm.

it was stated with a 3.5 mm headset but how come my phone is only for 2.5 mm headset.

i had my w231 3 weeks ago.....it's nice...and affordable..but it has no free sd card or memory card when i bought it at sm fairview...isn't it unfair...and no installer included...how will i use it in downloading songs or music and pictures?i also couldn't browse...gprs is not allowed...why? when you buy motorola w23 what accessories are included? when i bought it at about 3k i only have the cellphone, the earset and the charger...the manual,leaflet look-like and it's box..

Why Motorola people decided not to release W231 in India. I am waiting for this one from long back, only bcoz it has 3.5 mm audio jack. So that I can use my fav headsets. Finally it is Motorola loss, they are allowing others to captures the market in low segment.
