Well my phone is back & runnin gud; d service guy said d prblm of restating is due 2 usb connector prblm; every time a call comes it restarts as though i have disconnected d phone 4m storage device mode; so d connector is replaced.

go 2 service center flash d handset once & c whether its fine after .or u may hav 2 relase d PCB of ur handset

Hi, I just bought this phone 2 months ago, but now I got problem with sms/mms.I can't receive/send sms.I still can receive mms but can't download the content.When I try to send the sms, it says "Unknown Error".When I turn off the phone it says "Message Store Progress...Please Wait..." it is to long.Untill I leave it a hold night,when I wake up,it keep says "Message Store Progress...Please Wait...".Then I just take off the battery then put it back then it back to normal but still stuck with the sms/mms problem.Other features still work fine.Did anybody have experienced that.How to solve it.

i have purchased w388 in 2 week of november till then it is in the hands of the company service centre than in my hands. It's display is frequently going to white. And first time the service centre guy taken 7 days and said i have replaced the display unit. But from the same day the problem continue. I called many times the customer care but no use. Once again the phone is with another service centre since 22 nd december.............. god knows how the most worst company serice on earth.

well what can i say 4 some its good for some it simply isnt; my mobile is still in Delhi no reply of whatsoever kind; i'm totally pissed off as i ve used my mobile only for 3 days since 3 weeks of its purchase

I have my own motorola w388, but on the motorola site, it says,that the unit has bluetooth.. but why i can't find bluetooth on my phone?

why is it that whenever i have a call, when i answer it, it would be disconnected? what seems to be the problem? pls i need help. i just bought this phone 4 days ago.

your must 1st charge your w388 for 14 hours to reach its full battery capacity, use it till the battery dies then recharge for 4 hours then on...
battery is good...

hello! i just bought my w388 last dec. 25. and it seems pretty decent for a basic phone with mp3 player although the included earpiece is basic also, u can buy and try another for a good sound quality with a thump. this unit seems so picky when it comes to micro-sd, i 1st bought a transcend brand and it seems not to work right. so i replace it with a kingston 2gb and its good. (kingmax also works fine)
TIP1: how to make sure micro-sd works fine -- 1st u must format your sd with the phone and try taking pictures and save them. if u see that the pictures are saved in "T-Flash" then your good to go...

hi, just came from moto shop
there's actually a trick for that and it is a known issue.
try this:
>go to the In call Setup
>Call Cost set up
>credit limit
>put in the Pin2 code (1234 as default)
>set values to 9999999 (should be seven 9s)
and that's it, it should work
