Umm....when my friend bought it here in the Nokia Philippines, Nokia 2220 had Wi-Fi and she said it was great! I'm planning to buy C3 and 2220 these 2 phones are so handy!

Sorry, I will correct my error. I've just had an e-mail from Nokia Support.
The small proprietary port that looks like a small USB plug is a 'service port' only.. So yes, this phone has no possible PC connectivity whatsoever.

Paying almost $500NZD for a phone is a plain waste of money unless you're going to use it as your main source for email, uploading and downloading and photos.

I bought this phone recently. After owning a few Nokia 2730's, I wanted to see what this phone was like. I was wanting to see if this had a better keypad than the 2730.
It does, but it's a far inferior phone to the 2730 (which is the same price where I live, and should be everywhere). These are the reasons why the 2220 Slide can't match the 2730.
The 2220S, compared to the 2730 has:
- No bluetooth.
- No memory card slot.
- Standard VGA Camera (instead of 2MP)
- Very weird proprietary USB slot (still trying to find a cable for it)
- Low resolution screen, and noticably smaller screen too.
- Noticably smaller battery. (can't comment on battery life yet, however)
- Only supports half of the 2G bands, and no 3G support.
The ... keypad on the 2220S is slightly better, but it can't excuse the rest of the phone.
So, if you're looking at this phone seriously, I think you can find better options for the same price. See if you can track down a 2730 instead.
This might appeal to those wanting a cheap slide phone.. but I'd suggest trying a non-slide phone and just getting used to it - this phone has few strong points - and I think there are better alternatives out there, for the same price.

I dont like the built quality of Nokia any more. They use to be strong and tough. But now a days Nokia is like the other companies. The screen is made up of bad materials and gets the scratches easily.

im agree for some problems about this unit of nokia 2220s
im a student i need a very fast and easy to use an internet but the opera mini did not operate my mom and i try to went in mall to ask to how we use the opera mini , because i need a net for my some assingment thats why i buy nokia 2220s
