it's a nice phone but opening gallery with another theme aside the ones that came with the phone is quite slow

Try to adjust your phone network settings. Choose gsm mode instead of umts/dual mode. It will surely make a slight difference. Hope this helps. tools/settings/phone/network/network mode/gsm

I have Nokia C5 & its awesome phone. 2nd memory card option is Menu > Application > Office > File mgr. > Phone Memory / Memory Card.
