this is a good phone i have used it gives the basic need in a phone to the max true gprs is not up to standed it full fill my talking need to the max

Got this phone 3 years ago. Flash memory operations have become a bit slow, some of the paint on the buttons has come off, and battery life is a bit reduced, but otherwise it works perfectly. Next phone will be another Philips.

this is the worst phone i have ever seen in my life.......
the camera is very bad, sound quality is also very poor, they are providing the facility of gprs bt we cant access net on this phone......... nd now i dnt hv any words for this phone.............

got the WAP working now... FINALLY!!!!!!!

here's the settings:

Browser->Wap parametes:
Profile name -
IP address - your ISP's IP
IP port - 9201
Homepage - http://wap.whatever.domain
Linger time - 180
Connection type - WSP !!!
Bearer - GPRS
CSD profiles - (optional) -
GPRS profiles -

Connections->GPRS profiles:
Profile name -
APN - internet.YourISP.domain
Login - wap
Password - wap

and that's it!!! this thing is a beast!!! (except for the camera...)


NB! make sure you have "Attach GPRS" selected as "attached during PDP session" (under Network Settings).
otherwise the battery will drain in days!!

I'm using philips phone expecting for it's advertised long battery life. Battery life is good for a few months then afterwards standy just drop down to 5 days. I can say that this is a typical C.... product since philips sell their mobile phone business. Battery quality is very poor.

i m using this phone since 5-6 months,i m facing 3 big problems with this phone,that are::;
1.battary doesnot allow 2 months backup,hardly 15days.
2.night mode is worst ,but in day pic quality is relatively good.
2.colors appearance is low.
& sound is bad.
3.video quality is very worst.........

my advice to this phone,is that:
**it should be thin,stylish,and full of battary.
