i tested in snowy outdoors and many time throwed in snow and it still works very good!

I am writing a review after over one year of using this phone. This was launched in India after Samsung Marine was stopped as perhaps it did not catch much of attention in the market. Key comparison parameters:

But the battery advantage is HUUUGE, trust me I once carried my phone on a trip for 7 days for calls, data, flashlight, kayaking videoshoots, music. When I returned I realised I had forgotten the charger back at home. Oops!
I know I can't dip this in water, but won't hezitate to answer a call while raining & thats good enough for me. Too bad this small versatile phone is not waterproof, but a winner in its own strengths.

the thing you guy's don't know that i is the best movie player... you just need proper encoder(3gp)... a full movie sizes around 70mb... and when you press the movie button it literally hangs the mobile for a minute or two... but then it plays like a breeze no lag nothing...
its good to have in long travel... ^_^

I´m having troubles setting a mp3 file as a ringtone. The option "Set as" isn´t avaible. Is mp3 format not working to have as a ringtone?

Does the reception for talking for AT&T in the United States work perfect or like any ordinary AT&T cellphone? I called AT&T and they said they will support GSM 900 and 1800 but they told me that the cell phone might not work correctly since its unlocked.

This handset's battery really lasts for two - three weeks. It's really amazing. For someone who talks a lot is the perfect solution even under hard condition. Also very clear conversation and loud speaker. I suggest it for sure.

i have one and using it for a year and a half. battery life is 2 weeks, rugged looking man enough. i drop it several times already still working hehehe. you can text and call under the rain. you can download underground songs and play it for long hours without worrying your battery running out and enjoy it while rafting, riding motor bike. 5 star for this fone i hope samsumg develop more of this kind say waterproof 100meters and rubber casing for more durability.

the 15% that i didn't give to the phone is because it only recognizes up to 2GB memory card, has VGA cam, no wifi, and limited SMS storage space.

for me the USP of the phone is Terrefic batterry backup, voice cancellation,its bulky weight and ruggedness. Now a days cell phones are so light weight they dont give the feel while handling but e2370 gives that bulky feel which is awesome.talk time is simply amazing. Voice cancellation allows me to talk unbelievably clear even in middle of traffic. This has impressed me a lot. Would request samsung to provide voice cancellation facility in all its basic phones. Privacy lock and fake call features are very good.. Have accidently dropped the phone thrice but the phone works perfectly normal.....THANKS a lot samsung for such a good phone....

But, It's a very simple phone so if you want more than calling and messaging on it you should look for something else.

The cheapest price I've found is about 50€ (unlocked).

Hi to all, If you want to use your own picture as a wallpaper, just copy the picture to phone, then go to MY File menu > Images, you will see your picture that was copied, then you can now set this picture to become your wallpaper, same with ring tones, but it only has small capacity of memory so make sure that the only thing that you will save is the one you will use..

This oem is too good ., Charging will come for more than one week ( for normal usage person) ., Standby its more ..In all aspects it is too good., I am using from last one and half years ..Phone is superb.

I just purchased my new E2370 and Im currently charging it now for three(3) hours as what the technician told me. I hope this phone will work fine for me. :)
