this is the nice looking but

no calculater
no alram

and any one know how to set the mp3 as a ring tone abd use photo caller id ?

how can i use GPRS my mobile is working as a phone and sms faclity ?

I have a HipTop Slide too, and it's what I had to do when I gave it to my sister with a new plan.

I have had a sidekick 3 and now have a slide. Honestly, the phone over the years hasn't improved. All that's gone on is a few name changes and colors. You still canot view videos, download, or load some pages over the internet. Its still great IF you are strictly a messaging addict.

T-MOBILE S-U-C-K-S! I had a samsung phone i F480 and i couldn't get signal if i stood underneath a roof. Only 1 bar when i am outside. I have only gotten full bars 1 and i used T-MOBILE for 1 year now i have ATT

Just wondering, And if someone knows please let me know.
I used to have a Hiptop3, Though it broke (no surprise), so my friend gave me a hiptop slide (or Sidekick Slide, depending on what country your in).
As you are probably aware of, the sidekicks have to be set up with a user name, password and email address, Therefor it is still set up with their user name, and there is no way for me to get the password, so i can't use the network. Is there any way i can re set the phone so that i can set it up again with a different user name and password?

Most people I know have both a sidekick with data plan only and a regular phone because the sidekick comes with like 2 features (an exaggeration, but seriously, no basic functions??)

You must be joking. Hiptops are the worst phone EVER!! I can't stand it. Yes, the plan is descent with free text and data, But come on, Admit it, the phone is worthless.

I was trying to open sidekick that i could not open waiting for activate..it is not working..so what i should i do that..but sidekick slide is cool and nice model..i love it..but i don't know how to get activate for this sidekick slide. i need you help. How can I get e-mail account? I want tmail account for sidekick slide. Plz let me know. I need help. Thanks.

are hip tops really good phones or are they crap?
are they heavy to carry around?
are they easy to use?
do they hold alot of memory with out ayee memory card?

I own the hiptop slide for about 2 months now, but the hilarious thing is... WHERE IS DE CALCULATOR function????
And the stopwatch????
There's none...
The phone is very simple. so simple that there is no alarm clock function either....
I really hope someone could tell me where is the calculator function???
The camera is 1.3mp, a bit disappointing. I saw a comment about the upcoming 3g hiptop. Hopefully Telstra would get one of them in.

This seems to be the case where you either get a good or a bad phone. at least until they update the firmware on the phone.

my suggestions is to try again if you live in Australia and want unlimited text and internet browsing with telstra
