> In reply to salim_hosain @ 2012-02-21 20:54 from 2CdT - click to readjust had this phone and I'm using it right now.. its a great phone.. though they just altered few specifications when it comes to this phone.. because I also did use the original 8800.. the 1st version of 8800 is better when it comes to its design.. the keypad and design itself compared to sirroco.. but sirroco has a better battery life.. and has a better camera.. but if I were to choose I still choose the 1st 8800 only with the battery life of sirroco..

For those people wanting this unit or any 8800 unit this unit is not that much function like other BUT if your looking for glamour and something to show LIKE BLING BLING this Baby will never go out of style "that's why its called an executive phone" and to know what is real to not feel the unit 1st 8800 mostly is really heavy than replica even the metal itself seems like thicker than replica not to mention the serial number that is engraved at the battery cover replica "DON'T HAVE THAT" and the clarity of the screen is different as well hope this will help you separating FAKE to Genuine........

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2011-11-13 08:56 from N9@S - click to readI don't know why you consider it such an ac complisment the fact that you bought Sirocco......I don't know where you live, but in my country if you know the right people you can buy a sirocco or a 8600 luna in a good condition for 50€,a 8800 arte or sapphire for around 120€......Understand that the 8800 series is not luxiours eny more!....It's not like when it was launched with 1000€ a phone!...Things have changed!

I just two units of the originals off ebay (from a US seller). This phone is simply THE phone. what most people have is the fake (I have one of those); its nothing like the original!! This is simply the best phone Ive ever owned!! Please get the original and see for yourself - Its THE phone

Sirocco is a luxury phone judging by it's looks...but it stopped being one judging by it's price....A sirocco in a good condition in my country is around 50-60€....Since this phone has been discontinued for a long time it's very unlikely that you will find a new one on the on-line stores! They are 99% refurbished!

I recommend everyone before buying this phone to know where it is made, most of the Nokia 8800 on the web are FAKE made in China, they work well just for a couple of months , the original 8800 is made in GERMANY, this phone is not cheap at all if you are buying this phone at the range of 200 tp 300 it is probably fake

One of the worst phones ever. Crap battery life, about 50% of them came back with problems and it did pretty much nothing.
It was a classic more money then sense purchase. You'd be better off buying a Nokia 1661 or kicking old skool styles with a 510. At least they worked.
