i updated my galaxu note today but i didn't got the my story apps as promise by the samsung .......can any 1 tell me if they face the same problem....thank you.

Battery life improved and also user interface is fast n improved...loved ics. S note is awesome
But for long battery life clearing ram is must...
I get almost 24 hr btry life.
Charge only when it is below 5% and remove only when it shows 100%
no overnight charging.....
Increases battery life
Love it. ..live it.

More problems other than the video player has stopped working unfortunately...

even though i have read the sms the sms icon on the main page still shows 1 in the right corner if the icon and when i click on it it has nothing to show then the already read threads... :(

small update is really a necessity now to fix these bugs...:(

I enabled the GPU rendering, and it seems to have improved the battery performance. Can anyone check and confirm the same?
Settings --> Developer Options --> Force GPU rendering

Recently i upgraded my samsung galaxy note to android 4.0.3 there is hardly the fact which hurts me a lot is that battery level is going down and down

I have recently upgraded to ICS and sincerely guys its is awesome using it .The gmail app is decently made also chrome beta works great.Face unlock works instead of low light.I am loving ICS

I own a galaxy note for less than a month now, upgraded from htc desire hd. It continues to surprise me each day. I knew about the s3 coming, but I still went for the note. And as proud as it gets, no way in a second I have regrets in purchasing the galaxy note.

It is the best fon for me now. Go get it, there will be no regrets unless of course size matters.

At first size was an issue for me, but after some days use I surely won't go back to smaller screen. Heck no.

With d nw Premium Suite d added features r too gud.. Bt can yet any1tl me if any1 of u have come across the My Story Premium app? Iam unable to find it in d ICS UPDATE available in India

ICS update in India is available I got my update push from Samsung on Saturday.

It is a great update to have.

With ICS i think the note is way better than the samsung galaxy SIII

the only thing i can do now is reduce the brightness (i used to set it to the max), and less browsing. Too bad :(

hi every1.. i just update my gnote to ics.. im having a problem with my wifi and bluetooth. i often used my phone as a modem, cant connect to my laptop... my bluetooth also cant send file to my laptop. any suggestion that i can fix my problem... thanks

After spending a few battery discharges, cycling 3 fully charged batteries, I now can fairly say that the ICS update has not improved from my previous experience. Its slightly lowered in efficiency from my experience with Gingerbread.

It's an hour or so less than my heavy usage Gingerbread experience. I usually before get about 7 hours of above medium usage, browsing frequently, now it's about 5 hours plus. I don't know what extra stuff are running in the background that's eating more power. I think I need to fiddle around a bit more to find out.

Maybe different regions have different versions of updates, but where is that browser screen invert function (to make the background black instead of white) for ICS to save on power?

A previously mentioned, there's a glitch with the keyboard input freezes when you try to encode text on screen. You need to wait really long or restart the whole system to shake the problem off. This has happened quite a number of times, and it frustrated me when when I could not answer an SMS. This never happened before the update.

The premium suite did however gave me some positive benefits. The S Note's sketchbook icon to organize sets of notes or sketches is most appreciated. You can customize the covers with the many templates available. The sketch animation recording is quite useful to show how you began till finished process of a sketch. But how can thus be translated to a video format without a third party app? Still quite useful for live presentation sketching to explain stuff connected to an HDMI media projector, and saving them in a "notebook".

Short from rooting my Note and experimenting on the many ROMs out there, I hope to see a better work on this update soon, fixing the glitches some of us are experiencing.
