dear friend
u can install the jetroid os on jet
but gsm &... is not work
and other feauters dos not work properly
so the touchwiz is first and latest os for your phone

Hi Friends,
I have Samsung S8003 model, due to water spills on it the volume key both (-) & (+) is decreasing the volume & does not increase due to which my phone hearing volume is got lowered to 1 value (i.e. whenever I receive call I can’t hear the voice properly) & i can't increase using volume key. Any suggestions, how to increase the same by any internal setting?. Highly appreciate to receive your replies.

i have this phone ... my cam is fail i install framewere many times but still not working
before i enter this code *#197328640# and i chose 6 thin 3 to update my cam but still fail not successes
now my came stop working and i need help to fix it

For those experiencing lag, hunt on darkforest website for the right code for your software, and keep the proccessor running at a constant 800mhz. it costs alittle battery but it stops most all lag.Enjoy your phones, and who knows, maybe someday somebodymight reach a person in samsung with a conscience, and they'll release the source code for the jet to an android developer and we'd have nearly the perfect little phone.

I had this phone for about 3 years. So that makes me a user and i can share my experience with this phone.
but first i wanna mention that this phone is not in production anymore and you cant buy this phone now.
When i purchased this phone it costed me Rs 17250/- or about 345 US dollars. Samsung advertised the phone as "Smarter than smartphone". This is what i call a perfect example of hyping and product which is not capable of doing anything smart at all.
The touch screen is resistive and after using it for 6 months the screen becomes "Hit Screen". which means you have to practically hit the screen with your nails for making it work.
There is no support for any kind of useful app.
Samsung didnt care to give the bare minimum support for app and social networking. The browser isnt good.
There is no gtalk or fb or twitter integration (which you will find these days in rs 6000/- phones).
The AMOLED screen is just simply useless. Even the pre-installed apps hangs and lags while using. The processor is a 800 mhz qualcomm processor but it cant manage to run Opera mini, photo gallery and some other app. And now we get cool windows phone for 345 dollars.
I personally feel cheated by samsung. just because they promised this to be a smartphone and now this phone really sucks.
for 17500/- you expect a capacitive touch screen. even my friends make fun of this phone.
the only thing useful about this phone is the GPS integration with the Gmap.
The 3G speed is only 3.6 mbps.
Im not comparing this phone with android or iphones.
but for 17500/- all you get is 5mp camera and amoled display... everything else is pretty useless and redundant.
