What about the Motorola RAZA MAXX, dual core with heavy duty battery?

Bought this phone couple of weeks ago and tried to use since. Very disappointed with battery performance, every day have to charge it even if I do not make any calls. Mobile Internet and GPS off, good GSM signal, still drains battery quite quickly. And most annoying part is battery is not changeable, so can not have backup battery for an emergency if I am away from home. I wish I could return it.

Anyway, I explained to them some of the problems HTC have, such as the weak battery life. They also don't really advertise their phones.

> In reply to MobileSec @ 2012-05-28 13:33 from 0Cmh - click to readAlso Benchmarks show the Galaxy S3 beats it on almost everything because it may have less cores and lower clock speed but it's obviously much more efficient at using what it has, but the results are so close for most things it really has nothing more than bragging rights, plus Galaxy S3 is also made of Polycarbonate and is much better for battery life and of course HTC was pretty dumb to leave out expandable memory for such a high end phone.

> In reply to MobileSec @ 2012-05-28 13:33 from 0Cmh - click to readNo i mean it is obviously a really good phone that's spoiled by no replacable battery or expandable memory, so no matter how good it is it's ruined by that and i'd never even consider buying it, plus it's apparently pretty bad on battery.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-05-28 01:13 from 39x% - click to readYou mean One X inside is bad? Are you joking?
The best CPU: Nvidia 1.5 GHz processor with 5 cores (1 power saving core).
The best GPU: ULP GeForce with 12 Graphic cores with 3D Stereo
RAM: One X has more than 900 MB user available RAM
Cache: 1MB L2
What else you want inside?
The all future high end phones are inbuilt memory and non removable batteries.
Inbuilt memory: Extremely faster data transfer between cache and memory.
Non removable battery: Li-Po batteries never giving problems, because these batteries are durable than phones. That’s why both iphone and Onex X batteries are non-removable, because you don’t want to remove batteries.
Li-Po batteries far better than Li-Ion batteries. I’m 100% sure these batteries are not giving troubles to you for 3-4 years. (Li-Ion can be replaced with in 2 years)
HTC releasing Nvidia LTE phone in next quarter, I think it will be the best phone in next quarter.

> In reply to TC @ 2012-05-28 07:11 from J5Qy - click to readSamsung phones has got too many problems, and this is a fact. Samsung phones are not reliable at all! I'm using the Galaxy Note which I traded-in with my Galaxy S2 (S2 sucks). I want the Note only because of the big screen - Note is definitely not as good as the HTC One X in most of the aspects (I also own the One X).
Two big issue with Samsung phones:
1. Their ability to search for Network after losing signal.
2. After posting a picture on facebook, when you click the picture you just loaded to facebook, it just showing the picture which you loaded earlier ... you can only see/enlarge the most recent uploaded facebook picture on your own phone after a few hours!! ... My friend's Galaxy Note have the same issue too!!!

> In reply to MobileSec @ 2012-05-27 23:08 from 0CmJ - click to readAnd you can also search for problems with HTC Desire... or any phone made by HTC and you will find that HTC actually have a far worse build quality, with death-grip and bad screens that die after only a few months use and overheating and HTC have always had the worst batterylife..., than Samsung! My S2 with official ki8 and 2000 mAh battery have no problem! S2 have bad sound quality, but the S2 sound quality is still far better than the One X sound quality! I have more than 35 Gb of only apps and game-data on my S2 plus 5 Gb music and when I am on longer travels I also have some movies on my S2, so only 26 Gb on One X is not enough!
The S3 backpanel is actually made of POLYCARBONATE!

> In reply to MobileSec @ 2012-05-27 22:17 from 0CmJ - click to readSometimes with sexiness it's what's on the inside that counts, and what's inside the One X isn't removable battery or expandable memory, so this phone is kind of like a relatively attractive woman that has a really annoying personality, i mean you could have some fun but try to live with her and the annoying truth comes out.
