all people that comments negatively had an iphone 4s . this phone is great . i bricked it last time but i restore it wih acer download tool . you need to root it to unlock it's full potential not lik iphone that if you brick it you have to usw you're warranty and spend some money for little upgrade . not like with this phone all you have to do is wait for update in miui .
my liquid e is running on miui 2.5.18 ICS . too stable and lightning fast .

Bought a acer a long time ago had problems thru into a draw bought a HTC Explorer same problems took it back they changed the motherboard. Same problems took it back the did a hard reset (htc power volume down) problems went. So I tried it with the ACER looked on google for hard reset found people did not know difference between hard reset and soft reset has now been running for 200hr.

Same problems I took it back they changed the mother board in the HTC still same problems took it back again all they done was hard reset (power button volume up). I looked it up on google Acer press power volumes and camera. Acer has now been on for almost 200hr non stop.

i am never gonna buy any acer products again, acer fa=erari liquid is driving me crazy, i have been using it for a week and i hate it already, whoevr wana buy the phone dont say we didnt tell you, i work around with a charger cos the battry doesnt last

Do NOT get this DISGUSTING excuse of a phone. I find my phone occasionally turning off (while the battery is far from depletion) and it doesn't matter if the phone is on stand by or in-call, it can easily shut down for no reason. I find it intriguingly difficult to hang up once I'm done (try touching the screen or pushing the power button to light the screen up with no answer) and thus I find that most times, the only way to hang up is to wait for the other party to hang up. Not to mention the constant problems with the awful keyboard when texting, the lack of internal memory, the inability to update os (keeps asking to search for new updates every half hour or so but never seems to find one when there actually are some out there). Did I mention that if someone texts me a msg containing the letter "ê" (I'm french-canadian so I use accents) the message doesn't appear and shows instead "Format not supported". No joke, I'll be buying a new phone and chucking this one against a wall to enjoy it's death!

Do NOT buy this phone. First of all, it's keyboard is really bad. The letters are spaced way too close, which ends up in a lot of spelling errors when typing. Second of all, the internal memory is tiny. You can barely store all of the apps that you have to have, and can't be switched to an SD Card. I can't run the email application because of this. Also, the battery life is terrible. It can last for a few hours, and then it's gone. Another thing is that the phone freezes up a lot. When this happens, you are forced to take out the battery to reboot it. When using the browser, the speed at the pages load is very slow. I finally have to just give up, and try again later. Finally, the feel of this phone is very cheap and plasticy. The back cover where the battery is, is very flimsy and very easy to snap. This phone scratches easily too. These problems may only have occurred for me, but I know someone with the same phone, and they have the same problems as well.

The good about this phone? There isn't much, but there is some. The screen is pretty good, and usually responsive. The design of the phone is also good for smaller hands. Oh, and I really like the fact that flash player can be installed. However due to small amount of internal storage, it's hard to actually be able to keep it.

hey guys need a serious opinion on this
i m planing to buy the acer liquid ferrari limited edition phone is it worth buying i mean not on money basis but features,using of the handset the responce of the phone pls. do help me on ds

I've had this for 18 months now and it was good for about 6 of them. Honestly I will never buy another Acer product based on this. When fully charged I can use it for seriously 10 mins then it shuts off and won't come back on until I take out the battery. Then it tells me I need to recharge it. Crap unless you have a plug in you pocket that you can leave it charging in. Absolute trash. I'm smashing it the day the new Samsung SIII comes out

I've had a liquid e since 2009. Phone was ok until it just started freezing up last year, finally froze permanently so i exchanged for another with my my carrier, rogers wireless. Screen freezes occasionally now, i have to turn off the phone, remove the battery, put it back in and reboot to get the phone working again. Phone has amazing specs, at least for a 2009 smartphone. Touchscreen performance is average, at best. While playing games, there's little to no response close to the edges of the screen. Processor and battery heats up, a lot, during long calls and while using the GPS. Oh, and don't let the 512mb storage fool you. There's hardly 100mb for app storage, at least that's how it looks to me. OK phone, good specs but typical cheap acer build quality, which, i guess justifies why acer products are cheaper in price than other devices.

Hi All

ACER LIQUID FERRARI

Its a great and worth phone at its price range.

Looks - Killer.
Camera - Nice and clear Images and video recording.
Memory - Internal Memory is a problem but you all need to act smart and tranfer all you application to SD CARD by going to settings - Manage Application - Move to SD, and Free you Internal Memory and if you are not using any of these application uninstall it and keep a back in your SD Card so whenever you want you can instal it back, it keeps you phone memory free.

Internet - Again Great internet speed and please make sure that after using Internet delete all temp filed and cache.

Battery - Battery gets heated very fast if you continue to use the phone for long, hence if you are on call PLEASE USE BLUETOOTH HEADSET WHILE ON A CALL.

And Upgrade your phone OS to 2.3 Its available and belive me it enhances your battery power.

APPLICATIONS - For Music - NEMO PLAYER
Task Killer - A very good application and if you know how to use it can enhance your battery power like anything, and even if you all cant download it then in your phone need to go into the settings and running application and force close all the running application.
Antivirus - Please make sure that you call have one antivirus software in phone and trust me its really helpful as we use internet.
Always keep you phone for charging and after charing you can use it for normal things like checking msg but always wait for 10-15 mins after charing and it helps in battery heat up.

ITS A GREAT PHONE AND ITS A HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE
BUT YOU KNOW HOW TO USE AND MANAGE YOU SMART PHONE.
