I have just tested the actual p565 out of the box with std apps attached to it and found out that it is not the fastest & smoothest pda phone around even though it comes with a 800mhz processor , supprisingly it still cant beat htc touch hd & after so many compliments and benchmarking test by so call experts reviewer , it still lags here & there , inconsistant high speed & slow speed when u use it , u can imagine of it hanging / freezing if u install more apps / games into the p565 . The glide ui is the worse in lagging terms , i think maybe it’s due to low ram - 128mb and it’s slow rom , maybe we have to wait for rom upgrades to see again how it perform , but until now , only people who dont know about htc brand may be induced into buying asus . Asus still a year or 2 back in terms of smooth speed processing when compares to htc in my opinion . I felt dissapointed because of the wrong info gathered from a few reviewers of p565 that it is the fastest pda phone around , but they didint mention intermittent lagging when u use it . To confirm my findings , please test the actual unit first before u buy , if i m wrong then pls let me know because i m a keen follower of speedy pda phones . So far i found iphone is best & htc touch hd second , anyone have any other brands & make u find good or better , pls feel free to comment , thks & cheers :)
Also the screen sensitivity is not so great , only the price is quite attractive at around usd630 . I think benchmark testing is one thing but actual usage testing is another which i found differs from a few reviewers comment , in my opinion it's definitely slower than htc touch hd , u got to test both to feel the smoothness of it . Of course the smoothest phone so far is iphone but it's already coming to 1 year old , so please someother brands , please stand out and compete on this technology . Got a question to those have this phone; does it have Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate? especially for photo viewing. The processor looks promising.

I'm currently using ASUS 535. It hanged few times a week. Synchronising sometimes not getting thru. Wondered it was common in ASUS?

Now thinking of upgrade to ASUS 565, not sure the above problems solved in this 565 ?

if u guys looking for good screen like 16 mil colors.. then buy a HD TV
coz i think 56K its a good thing for PPC'S
dont worry it will display more colors on pic's or videos

Omnia is garbage i have the phone for a week and i give the phone back...
dont look at the screen 800-400 resolution..coz omnia dont suport a lot of programs and games coz of the screen
so if u realy like to play games on it..dont bother buying omnia

ok guys...the phone is noce and its fast...and the usb really dont meather.... coz u an instal files on your sd with the adapter not a big thing,,,

BUT THE REAL QUESTION IS.. WHEN U TURN YOUR PHONE ON
THAS IT STICK A FINGER UP YOUR BUTT ?!? LOL
