I had this phone for two years and it was absolutely brilliant! No problems except that the middle button fell off. I just wish it ran on Android, then I could have kept using it...

That too for 3" screen, not really required except for showing off.

Its Sony/Erissons Java OS. They used to be good but not this one. I sent mine back 3 times under warranty for the touch screen and then they made a bogus liquid damage claim so they wouldn't have to fix it.I never got it wet. I will never deal with S/E again. Truth is its a complete failure out of the box. I also found that due to its form factor and weight it was always slipping out of my hand and the battery cover is not real secure so out comes the battery and all.
Software wise it ran Java apps very well (unlike most java samsungs and "RIM" blackberrys) but was slow to turn on/boot. The camera worked exceptional outside of the non responsive touch screen until the last time it slipped out of my hand like a greasy bar of soap, it failed to focus properly. I would steer well clear of this model, and due to S/E's lack of support, any future models. At its very best the Aino is a good doorstop if you slide it open and wedge it under.

never ever buy this phone! it's too slow. my touch has stopped working nera 6 mths. it's gets hang very fast

Dafuq, this phone sucks! I have to charge it every 2 seconds, and the camera is so shitty, even the slightest movement makes the whole picture blurry. And they keep selling the bluetooth headset seperately.

bought it new a week ago. these are my first impressions :

- very weak battery capacity
- 8 mega pixel but the picture is blured when you move slightly your hand or when one of the picture elements is moving even slowly (for ex : a car, a walker by...etc) and this is very deceiving.
- Since i bought it i open and closed about 3 times the back cover and i noticed that the back cover got a 2 cm crackeling wich tells a lot about the quality of manufacturing that turns to be finaly very low. the tough aspect is a catch.
if you're looking for tough materiel don't get lured by the aspect
