having this phone for over 2month , and have red all of the problems the others mentioned, and I can say yes, some of the problems happens to my phone too. when I bought this phone my friend suggested me to change the rom if i want better performance, I didnt take it , but after one week i had problems with pulling the unlock ring, lagging,force stops (sime times), battery problem and even sometimes restarting with no good reason, after that I start seraching for different roms and launchers and after about one week i costumized my phone the way I wanted,with cyanogenmod 7 and tsf launcher, and now after 6 weeks I found this phone awesome:) everything is much much much much more smooth,fast and enjoyable,the phone itself is superb, but htc should work on its original ROMs and HTC sense must work harder to avoid lagging or any bugs not to happen in coming htc sense versions. And about ram I have always 300-350mb free ram, try cyanognmod 7 to find out im right;)

Never had death grip issues for 5 months now.
BTW regarding RAM, on "develop option" I set the "background process limit" to "at most 4 processes" which is the max option we have. my phone now is more responsive and my RAM is never below 100, it's around 150 - 200. Please try this and share your opinion. Thanks!

As for the death grip issue. As said by a great person " you need to learn how to hold your phone properly". Death grip issue is no big deal if you know how to hold a phone properly. :)

Thats ICS beta version htc has released for end user testing and will be releasing soon ics build ota in India officially.

M Going To buy dis phone next week frm saholic.. a little tensed after hearing about the death grip issues.. what to do.. should i go for dis.. i hav to invest not more than 24k n htc sensation looks like d best in 24k .. bt ram is also d issue.. the latest phones are comming with 1gb ram bt it has only 768 mb.. i am not the high end user but i use to run many apps at a same tym...

I want to buy HTC sensation my budget is 23000/- INR .

Mine is July manufactured, it has death grip problem.
But it appears only when you press hard on top of mobile, i won't be harsh on my phone, so no problem :D

Hi Friends

I had bought sensation one month back. I too had lot of confusion for long time, which one to buy. I dared and took this.

Now i am really happy with this handset and no regrets. It is satisfying me for all my needs.

I was worried about battery before buying this, but it didnt matter me a lot after buying (atleast till now).
Performanc wise also very satisfied (i am not a high end user).

If you are not looking for very highend performance and ready to pay more than 20K bucks you can blindly go for this.
