I have touch hd for more than 2 years and i never had any issues with the internet, i have used gprs previously and now i am using 3G, no problems at all apart from that the fone itself is slow so internet is a lttl slow as well(incomparison with the latest :-(). i am not an expert though bt i suspect I think you have received wrong settings from the service provider.
you can as well try to take out your sim for 2 min and then restart the fone......
btw which network provider????

Option 1 which u have mentioned is hard resetting your fone and it is not recommended. It should be done only if u are having some touch problems with your fone.
Option 2 is not factory reset it just restarts ur fone.
I am having the same gprs issue and have done all things that u have mentioned but dint help me.. so i came to the conclusion that HTC HD1 sucks

I am trying to do internet setting but its not helping evrytime i get an error cannot connect for unknwn reason i checked with my network service provider but they tried 5-6 times and came to a conclusion that its a cellphone settings issue when i contacted HTC they said to do factory reseton my phone and told me 2 ways of doing it
1) remove the battery afetr few secs put it again and thn press volume up and down button together and later press power button at the same time...it didnt worked.
2) they told me to remove back panel and press the reset button ....still no progress
i wasn't able to do factory reset but i want to ask u expert guyz here is it necessary to do factory reset as i dnt wnt to lose my data in the phone but at the same time i want to enjoy interent gprs on m y phone pls suggest a solution you guyz can even mail me if possible on saima2903@gmail.com......my phone is from singapore and i am using it in India. pls guys help me

it has no upgrade on android , and had supported skype video-calls , since skype refused this for windows phones doesn't anymore , although it is a very good smartphone for them who wants ti haw a windows where to install and experiment

when i am down loading software for fring,after download when i make a call its giving message you cannot make a call,correct the date on your device and than restart again ,
what is the solution.

Click on the network icon next to the running internet time. New screen will appear "communications manager", now look for the DATA CONNECTION icon it will show green for on, click on it to terminate the DATA CONNECTION. easy peasy!
