Now that's what you call more convenient to have wimax capabled phone in your pocket. I might b happy with it's WiFi functionality, but what if it offers WiMax, aren't you more glad.

wow. i think htc made this phone to test out the knowledge and education level of their customers lol. "putin probably carries his house phone on his belt", russia has it and america don't?" "russia is ahead of america"?.
no wonder the world makes fun of us, rich but dum.
people u should be shy to ask such questions, save the embarrassment for all of us.
the world doesnt turn around america, allot of countries have more and better stuff then we do. do research, or travel somewhere. all u got here is walmart, wrangler jeans or levy's and a hoody. we are so filled with the idea we different cause we better, that we are way behind in almost everything.

This looks almost identical to the much remored Google samsung Gphone which never got released. And I love it. No curve. Plain square...maximum utilization of screen space.

You guys are either kids or really retarded adults. The phone has WiMax, that's nice, there's WiMax in most of the world. Don't be stupid judging Russia or any other country. You should first learn English before posting your comments, because it's pain in the a** to understand what you're trying to say.
And WiMax allows for VoIP which is much cheaper and more flexible than the voice service offered over 3G from your providers. Educate yourself before showing the world how stupid you are. Start by reading wikipedia articles on WiMax, 3G, WiFi, VoIP.

GUYS!! Get a GRIP!!
This is not 3G, it's not even 4G. It's a scam, a trick, a rouse on behalf of the Carriers.
This phone is designed to be used with a carrier supporting WiMax. Most likely Scartel in Russian and AT&T in the US and it's primarily being targeted at Data so don't expect decent phone features or battery life, but DO expect to loose your shirt on monthly costs in a long term lockin contract.
This will not be a common device but will make an interesting prototype experiment for HTC in the WiMax area.
The Carrier's will love this s**t to keep you topping up their Quarterly Revenue's.
Goodamn it HTM put ANDROID on a 3G version of this device so the rest of the world can buy it.
