I just recieved this phone as a gift. I love it. If you want a phone that is very durable, looks classy and does all the basic stuff real well without a bunch of extra baggage, this is it.

I just recently bought this telephone for my high school son and wife. So far everything seems to work very nice. It is great you can add up to 5 numbers per entry in your address book. It is very simple to use, you can answer the phone without slide it up so it is very handy and fix perfectly in your hand and pocket. Maybe the only issue is the battery talking time use, 3.5 hours. If you really talk that much and do not mind to charge the phone on the daily basis. In my case the phone has been without charging for 3 days. The camera is fantastic with 2 megapixels and flash incorporated so no problems indoors. If you pay for the ATT service you can have mobile TV, GPS and a bunch of stuffs in your phone. I really recommend it.

I think that LG should produce a Shine2, just like the Chocolate2. The original versions were out at roughly the same time, and they were the 2 phones that everyone wanted. So i think that it would be a good idea - just as long as they dont make it as huge as the BL40!

First Shine KE970 looks much of a class and sophisticated than this one,lg should think of relaunching the first one as it looked superb!!!!

Why are would lg make a second shine with not much of a dif.. Is that a market startegy to boost sale on a outdated headset with just a name change from (shine -shine II )...come on

Dissapointed in LG, I rather use the old shine than this one, the specification are foolishness, not even mi mother I would buy this phone and give.....

Disappointing in light of how pleasant an entry the previous Lg Shine was. Certainly under-spec and the design leaves more to be desired.
