> In reply to Auzy @ 2009-10-13 02:05 from PIYB - click to readThat's probably because the radio reception in your locality is too weak for the internal antennae to pick up the signal. I suggest plugging in the earphones and playing it through the speaker....

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-10-12 16:24 from tDVg - click to readUnfortunately the security feature of Java wont allow access of files in the phone so you cannot add music to playlists even if you have KD player installed... Gotta update the firmware to see if there is any changes made to it..

> In reply to Nevin Joseph @ 2009-10-10 18:40 from PB75 - click to readYeah i know what you mean...so far i have owned 4 in-ear earbuds...2 chinese ones(one sony MDR-EX700 dupe), iball and shh9700.
one chinese earbud was very comfortable to wear, the mdr ex700 duplicate-not too comfortable and the iball one really sucked..cant wear it for more than 30 minutes straight.

Well the philips ones comes with extra-soft earbuds, after 10 minutes you wont even feel your wearing them. i can use them for hours at a stretch without any discomfort. But, still it will depend on ear structure.

Another thing abt in-ear earphones is their noise isolation capabilities. earbuds like shh9700 and ep-630 have excellent external noise isolation so you wont have to pump the volume according to outside noise. I travel by bus daily and once i start playing my music, i dont hear anything thats going on outside.

You know what i mean right?

> In reply to Nevin Joseph @ 2009-10-10 12:46 from PB7x - click to readI have read one review about philips shs9500. In that the guy said he used for 2 yrs. And during that time he had used it very roughly, including many hard pulls and he also said it even went through the washing machine and was still working as before....now i dont how much of it is true.

I have been using shh9700(which is higher model than shs9500) for 6 months and i just put it in my tight jeans pockets...and each time i pull out it puts lot of stress on the unit and cables...its looking just as the way as i bought it.

For 1200 bucks..look for something from philips or sennhiser. I dont thing sony ones are good when compared to others in this price range.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-10-10 05:09 from utkY - click to readI'm also plannin on buying a budget earphonbes for my GM200. Currently i'm using a Sony MDR ED12 (red)earphones. built quality of this one is nice and looks good too. previously i was using phillips earphones. the proble i faced with it was that the connection in phillips earphones tend to become shorted out after some time. the connecting wires become rough and hard after some time. With Sony, havent had much problems... been using it for around 10 months now. Suggest me a good pair of buds in the range of 1200rs which sounds better than the current one i'm using. I also want it to last longer.. any advice?

> In reply to Auzy @ 2009-10-10 01:54 from PIYB - click to readYeah philips SHH9700 is damn good...much better than the overhyped creative EP-630. I use it with 5130XM and its absolutely amazing. EP-630 doesn't even come close.
THe sound stage of shh9700 is awesome for its price. The bass, mids and highs are well balanced and the sound separation is too good.

I have tried it gm200 and it sounds good. you wont be disappointed with it. BTW it comes with 3.5mm jack not 2.5mm so there is no connectivity issues.

> In reply to dhams @ 2009-10-09 21:55 from upfb - click to readYes you can sync your contacts, memo, to do list, messages etc with a PC using the supplied PC suite. You can then export them as CSV or TAB files which can be later imported and resynchronised. You cannot store messages onto the memory card directly but you can make a backup of your messages (sent and received) in txt file onto the memory card...
