I am using this model of Philips 160 mobile for the past 4.1/2 years. Its still so good. Only problem is that the the key pad and blue colour on the casing has started fading. I would like to replace the casing and key pad. Can anybody please help and guide me where I can buy the original accessories in Kuala Lumpur? Thanks.

(karet)

It's a good phone and accesible.I don't like something at it.Hard accesibility on it .But the prices are small so it's good when you see how much it is.

Bought this for RM199 in Malaysia. It's a good, solid phone. However, it's recently started "hanging" on me.. and sometimes the entire address book disappears and requires a restart for it to come back (may be the sim card or the phone - don't know which). And I've already run out of address book space. Will have to start looking for a basic nokia phone which hopefully won't hang and has more memory.

All in all, it's good with "no frills". Great as an entry-level phone - and the "fake" colour screen is a bonus.. so much more fun than plain ol' monochrome.

Used for a week now, very satisfied. For that much money, we should not expect too much. This is just a simple, reliable handphone to communicate with people. No camera and other extras which will suck on the batery.I traded in for my Nokia 3650, which gave me endless problem - imagine it shuts down 50 times a day and display go blank - unreliable. They want USD 60 to repair with no guarantee. Now I am a happy man.

Its a good phone among the entry level class of mobile phones, the fact that its battery life is long is good enough for a phone at this affordable price. Its selling at $140 in Singapore without any subscription contract with any Telco. Should be able to meet the needs of people like me who need a no-fuss phone mostly for calls and SMSing.

yes, we bought this phone for RM185 at the local hypermarket. no tie up with telco, open phone.

the first charge lasted 8 days...with some call in between.

the longest battery life in such a cheap phone.

no, it don't have wap, no music download, but i saw one connect at the back of the phone, probably it is for phone service, and might be able to get songs in.

I just bought it yesterday for RM 185
Yes, it can vibrate... but it's somewhat slippery in your hand
I'm testing the battery life now..I hope that the 400 hours battery life fact is true
