Not good phone at all..
slow and verry classic. For it's money u can buy something better than this. The only good thing on that phone it's that it's waterproof .
It was like the worst mobile i ever had.
It's good only if u want it for sms and calls and for water&dust resistance.

great phone very tough, and it is lashed to my life jacket when kayaking with no probs from salt water.great camera, bit annoyed by the predictive text, you have to wipe out the complete word you cant correct it!and text memory seems to fill up quick.
I use it every day and batt lasts a week, very happy overall:)

I,ve had this phone for three months and already its shown to be a DUD! The phone's reliability is pathetic and already its firmware had to be repaired. No thanks, its back to Nokia for me- bye bye Samsung!

Having had this phone for almost 2 years, I know cannot wait until my contract is up so as I can exchange it for something less boring. Compared to other phones today it is a dull as a model T car to a Roll Royce.

some secret codes guys: look test *#56658378#
bluetooth test: *#288378# torch test: *#86724#
fm radio test: *#368378# java test: *#52828378#
test mode: *#0206*8378# gprs tool: *#4777*8665# battery info: *#0228# with the fm radio test you can work your radio without the cable but will not hear anything (only noise) because the cable works as the phone's antenna.use all the codes with CARE!!! if you enable any from fm or look or java tests and the switch off your phone then you must enable it again...so don't switch off your phone..you can use the offline profile..

Can someone post how to set an mp3 format file as the SMS alert tone?

I managed to do it half a year ago when I last used this phone, but now I can't seem to do so again.

> In reply to Ry @ 2011-01-06 04:33 from Y7VH - click to readI have AT&T - works great. I tried T-Mobile - but their SIM didn't work at all, and they tried to blame it on the phone. AT&T works great.

> In reply to Judy @ 2011-02-03 16:02 from fw9i - click to readYou aren't stupid. This phone is made for active men and women that just happen to be computer literate too.

1. Purchase a data cable for your phone.
2. You need a computer, laptop or otherwise.
3. You'll need an internet connection.
4. Once online, Download "iTunes" from Apple.com
5. Set your "import" section of iTunes to MP3.
6. Insert your favorite Music CD into your computer.
7. Convert the Song you want to use to an MP3.
8. Connect your phone via data cable to computer.
9. Create a folder called ringtones on computer.
10. Transfer folder to phone folder, in "Music" Folder.
11. Disconnect phone from computer.
12. Hit Center Square button on phone.
13. Scroll to "My Files"
14. Click on "Music" folder
15. Scroll to "Ringtones" folder you just created.
16. Open.
17. Highlight the song you created in that folder.
18. Click "Options".
19. Scroll to "Set As," and select.
20. Pop-up window; 1. Ringtone, Caller ringtone, Alarm Ringtone. Choose the one you want.

That's it. Actually, this seems extreme, but most other phones on the market, it's alot easier, but it's a lot more expensive. This way, you won't pay for ringtones, and you can use any song you have created into an MP3, another impossibility on other phones.

I hope this helps. I love this Phone - and I've dropped it a few times in water on accident, and it still works. I even take it into the shower and talk while in the shower - I just hate to miss a call. :)
