The phone is new to t-mobile and was released as of 07/15/2009. However the Samsung behold and Memoir are the same version of this phone and are running the same format. Cosmetically the phone is an upgrade and its nice to see something new since the behold was very dull. However, the samsung behold is less expensive and offers better specs(camera and what not). So I'd give it a C+

it is easy to use, touchscreen is good for a tft screen. good camera.
its nothing spectacular, but its a good choice if you want touchscreen with a good camera.

I'll write this here and hopefully a Samsung rep will see it. Please bring back the ability to customize the background on the icon screen. I refuse to buy any touchwiz phone because I once had the U900 soul slider and the Armani which on both, there are a number of things you can customize. It brings personality to the phone. HTC is understanding this more and more with the Hero and it's Android based phones. I beg of you make it customizable!!!!
