it consists of 700 parts that are put together to assemble it... which takes like 30-60 days... hence it is available only in limited quantities
hence the phone is launched only in select luxurious cities in the world.....

First of all, what is "continental mobiles"?...never heard of them; big deal!
Secondly, if you know them, call them up yourself to ask why they are not selling this luxuary MotoAura...don't ask me, I do not know contiential mobiles!!!
Thirdly, sound to me that you are checking out the Aura everywhere for some unknown reason...the reason must be that you want one badly but can't afford it; so you go around town just to get a glimpse of it daily???!!!

MOTOAURA is one unique phone - you can either love it or hate it, there is no room for some third option. It's a fashion-conscious phone that, I believe, will appeal to its target audience

Vertu phones (by Nokia) are all about exterior material use only, but this Aura also include "mechanical movement" just like an expensive watch.
Looking at the features of the Aura and it's biggest selling point has got to be it's 1.55" screen - other than the 62gm sapphire lens, the small screen can produce 18 million pixels; which is mmore than double the normal QVGA standard that make the screen look so sharp.
A Casio watch that cost US$100 come witth so many functions & features that can scare you, but an expensive watch like a normal stainess steel Petak Phillippe will cost you at least US$ 20,000. Some people will never understand the reason why?!
The Aura not just about high quality material use and hand-made; but also come with mechanical style of design. What Motorola selling is "Art", not features/functions...and this Aura is half phone & half art!
This Aura phone is just like a mechanical watch - not much feature/function & never as accurate as a electronic watch...but this is ART, and it's worth every penny of your hard earned money.

I'll buy one and honestly I hope I don't see any bling-bling guy or girl with one of these, I would be ashamed to buy one if that happens... Luxury and bling bling are 2 different markets...
