This phone is known as EM330 in HK, mainland China, and Taiwan, selling for about US$128. (unlock and no contract)

For those who can't live with the white color of this phone, they should check out the grey / graphite version of EM330...which I think looks much better.

Indeed, merely by looking at the specs, other than the mon, EM330 seems to be comparable with the good old E2. Just wondering if the music quality is being as good as E2. If so, I'll get one.

The closet U.S. equivalent to this phone right now is the VU204 with Verizon Wireless(CDMA800/1900)

Motorola needs to change their looks and design immedite. very poor in research development factor.........after all he is the inventor of mobile..........

Instead of blue, this should be black with a red border like the other EM series and a shiny silver control pad. And the outer part black with a silver/red border. It would make this look so much nicer.

I've heard this phone utilize ROKR E8 audio engine(!) with 1 Watt speaker (!)

If this is true, it will be one hell of a phone!

compared to any other mobile phone websites, motorola.com is the worst websites. look at nokia,sony ericsson websites - these provide good info about all their phones that come under their brand. the fone info provided in motorola website is either not sufficient or its just waste.

The differentiating factor on this handset is that it has a powerful 3d surround sound speaker. That's where the rokr is supposedly coming in.

I think its time the kids in kindergarden and the very old have thier own hand phones, big clock and user friendly. Good work.

wow.. big hour numbers.. that's just essencial in a phone today.. open the mobile for see the hour it's terrible.. and less people use watch for see the hour..this idea i think it's great

I'm gonna get this phone, tear the housing off it, then place the "guts" into the housing of a Motorola W510 (don't worry I know what i'm doing) I like the features on this phone but I REALLY HATE the design, so IF I get this phone, I'm definitely going to change it's housing.

I think Moto need to go back to the drawing board with this phone. The EM25 and EM30 are good looking but this one looks too plastic and it does look like a toy. The shape is nice, but the screen size looks very small compared to the rest of the phone. Some metal and new colours are needed, plus a different coloured music key. That button sticks out like a sore thumb.
