it was stated with a 3.5 mm headset but how come my phone is only for 2.5 mm headset.

i had my w231 3 weeks ago.....it's nice...and affordable..but it has no free sd card or memory card when i bought it at sm fairview...isn't it unfair...and no installer included...how will i use it in downloading songs or music and pictures?i also couldn't browse...gprs is not allowed...why? when you buy motorola w23 what accessories are included? when i bought it at about 3k i only have the cellphone, the earset and the charger...the manual,leaflet look-like and it's box..

Why Motorola people decided not to release W231 in India. I am waiting for this one from long back, only bcoz it has 3.5 mm audio jack. So that I can use my fav headsets. Finally it is Motorola loss, they are allowing others to captures the market in low segment.

to put your mp3 files and pictures to your phone heres what i did:
1. Download Motorola USB Charging Driver then install.
2. Format your micro sd card by going to menu-->settings-->initial set up-->format additional storage device
(I'm using a CDR-King Micro SD Card 1Gb)
3. Then connect your phone to your pc using usb,someone post here that the only thing it does is it charges your phone,which is not in my case. I usually plug and unplug the usb until this info appears on my phone screen "Connect phone as storage device?" then press "Yes" and you can now drag/drop your fave music files and images in 128x128 format jpegs in your phones micro sd folder located on My Computer.

w231 is cool phone, i was bought w231 phone but when it connecting with PC not connected i use mpt 4.0.
help me plzzzzz....

Economical and user-friendly with a tune :) A must buy for those who wanted a phone for basic use. FM and MP3's works great with it also :)

And about the shuffle and repeat functions, you have to click on "play all" for it to work. Playing individual songs in the list would just play that one song. It would also create an additional button in the menu "now playing".

I've had my W231 for a month now and I'm happy with battery life and sound quality for both speakers and earphones. What I'm not too happy about is that the USB to PC connection does not work. I find it inconvenient to remove the micro SD card every time when I want to add songs or wallpapers to my memory. I've installed the USB driver but all it does is allow me to charge the phone, data transfer is still unsupported. I also am not able to use the GPRS/WAP browser despite downloading the ones sent by my subscriber. What gives?

U must connected to the phone by headphones for Radio. There u will find the recorder in the options, nowhere else.
