it is my birthday on the 11th of July, and i;m getting this phone, but i was just wondering if it was really good, because my mum had it 4 abt a week, then got rid of it, and i ddnt get much experience. also, i can't believe that it beats, the i-phone, htc hero, nokia N97, and many more of the top phones!!!!!!!!!! i

Install any signed application without "CERTIFICATE EXPIRED" error
WARNING: IF YOU DONT TAKE BACKUP OF YOUR DATA OR FOLLOW THE EXACT STEPS HERE YOU WILL LOSS ALL DATA:
NOTE: YOU CAN ONLY INSTALL SIGNED APPLICATION WITH THIS METHOD.
1) Make your phone memory backup data using nokia pc suit 7.1(very important)
2) After that remove your Micro sd card form mobile..
3) Remove your SIM card also(very important)
4) press *#7370# and unlock code to format your phone memory(yap.. this is safe default is 12345)
5) Now nokia 5800 xm will reboot.....wait for a minute....
6) Then select your country region as "Hong Kong"
7) Cool Set the current time....(set your phone to offline mode)
8) Now you can put that Micro sd card ...
9) And don't insert that SIM card right now...just wait....and try to install any supported singed application (E.G-nokia handwriting calculator)
11) And Volla...u may install any signed application ... After that just install your Sim Card...

5800 has a new brother and i'm sure there will be sibling rivalry with 5530. I like 5800 and i'm planning to buy one. But i'm reconsidering 'cause i don't use 3g, don't need front camera, don't use or need GPS, not at all interested in video photography, and saving money is always a good thing. SO DO YOU THINK I'LL BE BETTER OFF WITH 5530 THAN 5800? I think the answer is YES.
I'll still buy 5800.......

I am using this awesome gadget since a month ... believe me it rocks. One major problem is its horrible VGA camera, yes VGA camera , its 3.2 MP camera is not better that a VGA camera of my oldest 6600. So if u are interested in camera don't go for it but if you like muzik, big kool touch screen, movie maniac and handy phone then its really good.

i really love this phone man.....i just bought ot for a month and i think it really worth it buying it...other peoople who dosent have this phone you guys out thre must buy this thing and try the experience using this gadget....lolz

bought 5800 3 wks ago...excellent phone...never regreted 1 min. except for camera at night....but didn't mind.... does everything needed on a phone and lots more....compared with others for better camera...too much to pay just for better camera....buy a digital camera if u need better resolution

Sens you just got your phone, and i guess you have not store much personal files on it, than try to uninstall opera-mini first, and then take the memory card out and full reset your phone with security code 12345, and start your phone and put your memory card, copy opera-mini.jar and opera-mini.jad from memory card to phone memory c: in folder "others" and install it from there, then you can put your memory card back in your phone.

The ugly Moolan game uses the proximity sensor for acceleration.

hey guys. i got this phone for 2 days..
this phone is rock.. i love it.. :)
but i found missing here... im already install operamini.. but suddenly it gone... i dont uninstall it.. its simply disappear. and i can find it in app manager (for uninstal it). and i can't re-instal it either..
please help me ASAP...
