Nokia should have done better on this model since all the compilations on the market if very hard they at least should have to try not to lose a customer for other brands. i was using my N95 8gb for a long time with no problem and it was a great phone but its time to upgrade now to go with the technology. i was considering the N97. But on the N97 i have so many things that i didn't like.
1.Its big.
2.The touch screen is not even near the the iphone.
3.i thought it would be an N series phone but its look like it is more from the E series. N 86 must have been the follower of the N 95 8gb.
4. i didn't fall in love with it. may be that because there are so many hot-ties out there
now i am considering to but the new HTC leo HD2 or The iphone 3gs 32 Gb

how is net sped.
becoz, only 400MHZ processor,
how is music quality,
how is security like mobile tracker,
is there any bussiness applications like card reader,
office read and edit.

The Nokia N97 has no problems regarding offline activities (no Ovi downloads or anything).

I am yet to see some problems like random freezing or anything.

My problem was online as I downloaded something from the Ovi Store and BAM, phone issues

Does anyone know the nokia sip voip client configuration for skype skypeout and skypein?

can i sms via that nokia client?

Can I Receive Call From THe mobile phone and fixed line? If Yes , TheN That Means I must leave the nokia client running in the background all the time ???

Where's the "dot" button on this phone? It's so hassle to press SYM button and then the "dot". what a shame.

If I download the gameloft free games, my phone will have issues. I cant install windows live for some reason.

And now, all apps in the ovi store will destroy my phone. Goodbye Ovi Store.

PS: How do I re-install the Ovi Store (not that I will use it ever again)

Your phone shouldn't be any worse off if you don't reset. Can you update to the latest firmware v20? It has stabilised the phone, and it handles a lot better.

But if you don't hard reset before updating, your phone should be fine. Update to firmware v20 if you can - the phone is much stable with this, and handles better.
