INSTALL TO "DEVICE", NOT STORAGE CARD OR MY STORAGE

Step One: Copy the contents of the rar file over to your storage card, once that's done its recommended you go into settings and tell the phone to always keep the screen on.

Step Two: Download [Here] and Install SKTools5, run the program then close it. Now run the SKTools File Explorer, navigate to your windows folder and backup the MMS.dll file to a different location such as the Storage Card. If there is no MMS.dll file then just proceed to step three.

Step Three: Install files sdkcerts and OpenGLESv1, then install either NETCF 3.5 or 3.7 and restart the phone.

Step Four: After restart install files AudioManager, OemDiamAudioMgr and Sense 2.5, then restart the phone again. Once the phone has booted up go to Settings>Today>Items and disable the HTC Sense.

Step Five: If you don’t want to install HTC CommManager then skip this step. Install files CommManager Suite, Color Comm 2.3 and B7610CommManagerFix in that order. This will install CommManager and fix the Wifi to work with the b7610.

Step Six: Install file TF3D_1.3_Album_and_Music_Tab_Fix. Restart the Phone.

Step Seven: If you had successfully backed up a MMS.dll file in step Two then use SKTools File Explorer to copy the MMS.dll file that you backed up back to the windows folder.

Step Eight: If the Samsung Settings shortcut disappears copy the Samsung Settings.lnk file provided to your phones Windows>Start Menu>Programs directory.

Step Nine: Restart your phone, normal SMS capability should be restored and Enjoy! Remember to re-enable HTC Sense and also uninstall SKTools if you don't want it.

And last install softwares/apps. Is this right? I'm a noob at this and not really that tech savy. Is flashing with Octans simple?

> In reply to shiva @ 2010-04-29 15:56 from utd7 - click to readHi Shiva, downloaded both the roms you posted.. thanks again! But i'm still not up to the task... i'm afraid i might brick my phone. I think i still have lots of research about flashing roms before i can do it on my phone. Btw what version are you using and may i ask how much free ram is available with it? Right now i only have around 34-40 available coz i've installed spb mobile shell. it's really nice but eats lots of ram and battery.

Please list down the drawbacks for OmniaPro. As what i know is the OS is quite sluggish! Free RAM too little... Surface easily to be scratched!...

> In reply to Guest @ 2010-04-29 12:35 from tVqm - click to readI can't directly answer about the Nokia5800 because I haven't had a chance to try using one. But for the B7610, this is my first touch screen smartphone, I can truly say that it is very responsive and easy to navigate. Hope this helps.

Since it is resistive touch screen, then does B7610 touch screen as crap as nokia 5800?
