Got this phone for about a week or so. I have a question about it. Is it possible to block the buttons on the phone? On my previous phone, a nokia, I could do this by pressing the select button followed by a '*'. That does not work. When carrying the phone in my pocket I have already phoned several people, without me noticing. Very annoying and ambarassing. I couldn't find this option in the manual, but I cannot immagine that samsung forgot this feature. Any help is appreceated!
Han.

Price should be less USD200. Lowest internal memory, No camera Flash, No Radio, No Wifi. Nokia E63 has everything you need at USD250

I could get this baby for cca 80 EUR. As I don't need WiFi (1GB/month internet traffic for free in my subscription plan - that's more than enough for my personal needs - and this phone has HDSPA, which is not present in E63 for example), this seems like a perfect choice for a budget smartphone.
Well done, Samsung.

A good alternative to Nokia E63 for those who prefer Window Mobile over Symbian.

> In reply to Wally @ 2008-11-05 06:27 from iBtv - click to readits damn insulting to even say it's a copy of pentech. That phone is not even a winmo. Have you seen Samsung i320 which was released in 2006?
here have a look : http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_i320-1442.php
This is colorfull version of i320. And yes the coloring comes pretty close to Blackberry 8707v. but that's about it. Lets not say this a copy of this and that specially Nokia, as you should know blackjacks are there for quite a long time now. cheers

A better copy of Pantech Slate, becasue their are similiar in design and features... Slate wins with gps but lacks a memory card slot...
Good samsung, nothing from another world but is a new phone... very colorful...
Design: 6 (Good design, colorful but conservative in all lines, qwerty keypad seems very confortble and colorful too, great big size of the display, well done for samsung... still to improve)
Features: 8 (Great features, good resolution of the display, edge, 3G (yes!!), bluetooth with A2DP, usb, HSDPA to navegate in Internet, decent 2mp camera with video recording and yes people a micro sd that can extend the memory to 8gb, but this phone lacks gps that can be a minor thing but it lacks wifi that today is very useful and is a point less, why no wifi?)
Performance: 5 (Like i said in other phones eith standard battery... standard is nothing impressive, just 5)
Well, good phone and very colorful... if you want a great color look buy it!
