I am not able to delete messages from my samsung -GT-E 1160 , phone memory ...

No need to use formate option bcz with that u ill lost all msgs as well as ph. contacts u just put ur sim in anothr ph. & delet the sim msgs after tht the msgs ill be open for sure and after that pls delete ur faltu msgs as every time after 200 mgs it ill be restart anytime...
