Can we update the firmware on a

which is better in terms of speed ,user interface and features????
i heard apollo has many features like
*Document editor(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF)
*Proximity sensor for auto turn-off
*Multi-touch input method

If you are looking out only for those features primarily then I think u should go for the Nokia 5800
But also to keep in mind with different operating system than general android has a lot more to offer than those features
Also the battery is a bit concern in galaxy spica wen you use it to continuosly syncronise with your gmail account,
Would rate it 6.5 on 10 for battery
Best phone with no two views in concerned budget in android systems, ****

To set mp3 song as ring tone open the desired sond in music player and then press menu> set as> voice call ring tone.

Fo the ringtones you have to goto settings>>sounds n display
1) for the message tone. Option says notification ringtone, spica can't have customised msg tone as far as I know but the predefined set is good enuf
2) the very next option, says audible touch tones uncheck it for switching off the keypad tone

it might take time to reply but will try to suffice queries
