> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-05-30 13:34 from 98yw - click to readI don't understand why each samsung service center has different latest WM version. Even in my country, the update version can't be same at different cities.
Maybe in u'r country, samsung not release update version (WM 6.5.3) but it has done on other country.
So maybe u must be waiting little longer so that samsung release update version for u'r country.

Mihai;

My friend you should atleast have few knowledge how to used Smartphones bec. if you don't have knowledge you will be always complaining and wining for small things you don't know and My friend every phones like Nokia, Sony Ericsson, etc have problems on their phone like the bugs and lagginess but if you have a solution to those probles your problems will be gone and that's why there is a Samsung Service Centre to fixed all of those issues and my other suggestion try upgrading your phone OMNNIA II to winmo 6.5 to winmo 6.5.3 so you will stop wining always for your phone OMNIA II about the problems bec. the version winmo 6.5.3 they have already fixed all of those issues and I will go next week to Samsung Service Centre and have upgrade my winmo 6.5 to winmo 6.5.3... thank you

yes! it is possible to downgrade your winmo 6.1 to winmo 6.5 if you don't like winmo 6.5 and my suggestion my friend go to Samsung Service Centre and upgrade your phone winmo 6.5 to winmo 6.5.3 bec. they already fixed the Laggy and all the bugs on that version winmo 6.5.3 rather than downgrading it to winmo 6.1

> In reply to [deleted post]lol dude wtf! go back to your Iphone comment section. Don't you realize that the people who bought other expensive phones would have had the money to buy this Iphone but they didn't? I had the resources to buy it...and guess what? I DIDN'T! guess why? it's too limited(in my opinion)! if you stop yourself to the aspect, yes you're right it's good-looking but not the best-looking thou.If you want it to do more than just "look good" than buy another brand.Please stop insulting other people just because you bought yourself a phone that suits YOUR needs.Peace!

It seems that this phone is trying hard to make me not to like it anymore :|And slow but sure it succeeds :| I have a new problem now. When I watch movies the play isn't smooth anymore or the sound is faster than the image.And like this wasn't enough if I record a movie it records it with hiccups. WTF is wrong with it?! I didn't do anything and suddenly it behaves like this? :| Not to say that every time I power the phone on and open the gallery it scans for new files(!!!)or that the samsung keyboard is absent but instead of it is the ugly,small,blue classic keyboard(so I have to change it to samsung keyboard again and again and again) or that(sometimes)the wallpaper of one of the screens is not the same as the one I left before powering off or that if I choose USB connection->mass storage->storage card the phone won't charge unless it is changed to USB connection->mass storage->My Storage!!!!The only words that I have in my mind now are the ones of the seller "Are you sure you want to buy this phone?...I hope you won't regret it later" D*mn! And I paid 500 euros for it! :| :(

They cannot fulfill all consumer needs in the world. Even in HTC, Nokia, SonEr or maybe IPhone, u can found that is always few user complain about their dissatisfaction. Maybe Samsung not good in some items but it's not mean they have no good point in all products

My Friend, I never play a hero here. I just want to inform u & others that Skype itself cannot support application for Windows Mobile anymore (U can check official website that told like that). And when I try to open the link from u but link already dead.
Maybe we can found skype download link if googling but I can't recommend it before I test it by myself. But it's OK if u already test.
Actually I never using the way that I told to Gary to disable SMS sent notification bec. I never want to disable the sound notification on my phone. I call Samsung Service Center to ask about that and they told me like that, so I inform this to Gary.
I'm so sorry if that can not solved Gary's problem buat at least I try to help and I think here people try help each other but maybe not always successful.

This is a letter from a wm handset owner that owns a samsung:

Is that how we reward loyal customers Samsung? Windows Mobile 6.5 update for the SGH I780 in February 2010 nothing happened. Windows Mobile 6.5.3 for the Omnia 2 in May and we are almost in June. Please at least give Android lovers that small 2.1 if they can get FROYO. And this is coming from a Windows Mobile fan.

End of the letter..

The thing is that I know samsung has great tech and nice phones, but regarding updates it's just lie*s nothing more! So wake up with samsung there is no updates. Samsung are too busy releasing new phones they don't have any time for the users and their updates.

This is a letter from a loyal samsung customer for years now and this is what he thinks :

When a company publicly lies to their own customers, it's not a very good incentive for those customers to then go out and purchase another of that company's products. I'm already running Donut on my Behold II; why would I want them to update me to the same version, but with more bloatware (like their so-called "bug fix" in February)?

They keep lying to customers. First, the promotional video saying we'll get 2.0, then the recent statement that the Behold II cannot be upgraded past 1.6. The technical specs of the device, which are surprisingly difficult to track down (why, Samsung?) prove that the device is comparable to, say, the Moto Cliq, which was confirmed as getting 2.1.

I HAD been a pretty loyal Samsung customer for several years. I've bought their phones, TVs, DVD players, and other electronics. But I don't like being lied to, especially when it's this obvious. On my life, I will never buy another Samsung product again. And I'll be shopping for a replacement phone this week. HTC seems nice...

End of the letter..

Amir Salimi;

We still don't know if the OMNIA II i8000 will support Windows Mobile 7 but my friend you can go to Samsung Service Centre and upgrad your winmo 6.5 to winmo 6.5.3 bec. its already released this May of second half and the winmo 6.5.3 they already have fixed the laggy and the bugs and the other softwares of this phone OMNIA II i8000 that have issues...
