We would like to hear more from people who have been using the phone for more than one month and hear less (way less) from people who are amazed by the specs or have just bought the phone.

Nice phone but wish it was reliable. Had it for a month still brand new and it stopped receiving network signal thought my network provider cut me off so tried a second sim card which was working and still didn't work. Didn't drop it or anything like that. Very disappointed. Even tried manually scanning for networks and fails to search.

dam! i thought samsung jet is good... i have this phone in 1 month and i experience bad thing on my phone.. the audio jack is broken "i dont know why? i just use the headphone properly", application hang-up, auto restart, security lock hang-up... so, good luck using your samsung jet.. this phone is not capable for using in outdoor, if you use this as hardcore phone user sorry to tell but you most go to your samsung support center, also this phone is lucking of appli, gui, widgets, etc. so.. think 1st if you buy this phone.. soon ill use sony ericsson satio.. :)

anyone had experience that their Jet was
splashed by wet/liquid substances?!?

what did you noticed after the incidence?
my jet gets wet because
it was raining so hard!
i put it inside my bag, but snap!
the water gets inside without knowing
that it is already wet inside my bag!!!
i dont know if the
water really gets inside
the Jet,i mean internally_

What is the current firwmare version in your Jet?
There is no way to switch off the accelerometer.

If your Jet supports 3G, that is not from the authorised dealer in China as China does not support 3G network. Your phone should be imported from Singapore or Europe and flashed with Chinese firmware.
If so, you can flash it without any problem. It still supports 3G network.
Maybe accelerometer only works with photo viewing in European firmware as there is a little difference between firmwares in Asia and Europe. Typing SMS supports auto rotate but not viewing SMS.

again,
my current firmware is S8000CZCIF8 and my bro get it from china.
so is it possible to upgrade to the latest firmware "
S8000XEII2"
i fear that 3G capability will be lost after the upgrade.
so please be adviced.
anyone who have upgrade their own firmware to this latest one.

why the accelerometer don't work in photo viewing and sms.
in the gsmarena review,
in photo viewing, the the phone is change from vertically to horizontally, the photo also rotate in same manner.
in sms, when the phone is changed from vertically to horizontally, the QWERTY key pad will appear from normal numerical key pad.
so advice me, these features are not persent in JET or only my bro's set is missing.
