Faster (for me) than long press in SE/Nokia/Etc. Is that disappointing? What is disappointing is the plastic back cover finish of the jet. It smudges as easy as the screen reacts to the slightest of touch.

and the fact that samsung states its got wide connectivity however there is no mention of wfif on the official website
oh well.. thats the jet crossed of the list.

Does the UK model have Wi-Fi? The official Samsung Jet and Samsung Mobile websites don't seem to state anything about it and I emailed their customer services to ask them and I got the reply 'In response to your email regarding the wi-fi query. We can advise that this handset does not have the option for wi-fi'. A lot of sites do state that the phone carries Wi-Fi, but none of them are official Samsung sites so I am led to believe different things. Does anybody have this phone already and can comfirm whether Wi-Fi is available or not? If it is then I'll definitely be getting it via Vodafone promotions next month when my O2 contract ends!

The Vodafone UK version have 2GB internal memory , the 8GB version is for other regions , you can add a SDHC micro SD card up to 16GB

I just received my Jet phone and i will open it soon and see how is it

it should come wit some sort of voice command because its a high end phone however noone knows how advanced it is, whether you have to teach it or not.

however it does come with gestures so all you have to do is to write a letter or something and tell it to do a certain task

After reading countless questions on this forum it seems there can be no answer to the question of: MS Word, Excel editor, and pdf viewer availabilty/capability for this phone.
Can someone please address this?

When you spent ages writing 3 pages of sms and then lose it all by holding back for 1 second... it's stupid! If you wanted to delete the whole text you'd just exit it without saving - school boy stuff! I'm disappointed :(

Hey guys,
I'm in a dilemma. I had narrowed down to d 5800XM sum time ago and then saw the Arena n changed my decision. But now d SAMSUNG Jet has landed n put me in a fix again.. for both are extremely close in specs n capabilities. Although it is early days for d Jet, it has got rave reviews on mobile-review.com, etc. I'm not in a tearing hurry coz this is d first time me goin in for a hi-end device. Please suggest!
