hello guys....just wana knw how is the messaging 4 this phone izit eay...coz i used STAr 3G...its kinda hard....tq in advance...

will this phone last long time like 2 years? bcoz im not sure whats the life span of this mobile....
i plan to get e72 but the opinions in this forum is not very satisfactory and when i asked the sales man he told me the built is china but finland acessories...what was that?
samsung jet....i really like the looks of this phone but why there is need of software upgrades? and the battery life is not that good?
im a little confused... i also love samsung i8910 but the horrible price is not on my budget....too expensive... whats the other options can u advise me? i only want gud cam and nice memory for media esp music...but of cousre a fast and responsive mobile...

After using my samsung jet for a two weeks, I am very happy with it. The screen is fantastic and the touch screen response time is very fast, the wifi lags some times but its farly good. I also think that the camera is very sharp.

Just a few points:

• screen 16M colors is great.

• speakerphone is very good.

• camera is very good, 5.0mp is enogth if you only take pictures of your friends, in parties or even for turism... if you need more, that would be a waste, better buy a profissional cam.

• built in GPS its good, but have to buy the activation codes.

• battery is good, last a long time even using it like an mp3 player or using Internet for a few hours.

you know what, i install the latest firmware for jet, its really cool, you can edit menu, better music player and image browser etc...and i have many game file to install, all free....just pm me if you want the sofware... vherj07@yahoo.com

SAMSUNG JET is better than omnia.

The speed while i connect is good, but unfortunetly if you wanna play youtube, the loading time is so long. But over all JET is good.

i buy the new one at the end of 2009.

It's a very very good phone . A very high quality camera and very very good battery life , screen quality , touch abilities and etc . I love it but it has some limitations like the way that it connects to pc but you pay less than it's real price it's really really good in this price about 300$ .

samsung jet is an amazing phone. but after using it for about 2 days, I realized that its extremely boring. there are NO APPS/GAMES for it AT ALL. You're settling for crappy java games that cellphones played on back in the 1990s. You will NOT be satisfied with them.
I'm going to go get the iphone instead.

And if you're not looking for any games or features in particular in the phone, then might as well get any phone, no point paying so much for just the looks.

u can only save 200 msgs as MAX !
it seems that those 30 msgs are very long thats whay its equal to 200 msgs space

this is a big problem to me too :(

from what i've read in the reviews, its seems that you have to manually enable the gps to work. do you have to enable it yourself for both s8000 and s8003, or just on the s8003? all guide showing how to enable gps are for the s8003. i think it means that s8000 is already pre enabled. I know that this might sound stupid asking, but I still haven't received my jet so couldn't check myself
