Hi everyone, I've read lots on here about the battery life, some people saying fine, some not so good. My Jet is not lasting so well. I gave it about an 10 hour first charge and then had to use it. Put it back on charge almost right away, had to give it lots of tops ups since. Only had it 3 days, hardly used it and still it's losing so much battery life even after overnight charges, tops ups during the day etc. There's no apps running in the background. No vibe on. This morn it was fully charged, made 2 short calls of around 5 mins each and sent about 5 texts. It used up 3 bars of batt life almsot right away. Not impressed. Just switched from the 'auto' network setting so hoping that will help. Very frustrating!! Wondering if I should try to get a replacement battery from Samsung if it could be a bad one, or if I ruined it by only doing a 10 hour first charge, any thoughts? Thanks.

If any one could let me know if we have an option here to lock the phone with some code so that till we enter it the person wont be able to use the phone ...not just locking the specific menus like phonebook messages calendar memory card and all that stuff....the lock option like nokia where the moment u press a key in lock state and it asks for password to unlock.. ??

in my Opinion JET is Better due to specs either it has 5 mp camera, overall i thnk tht jet is better

Though the loudspeaker is not as loud as N5800. I would rate Jet a better phone than Nokia 5800 overall.

It comes very close to iphone in case of touch screen and surpasses it in terms of resolution and clarity.
Fully charged, it works for 2-3 days, with around 2 hours of music, 2 hours of bluetooth handsfree and approx 1 and half hours of talk. I haven't really used the wifi and gps as yet. In short the battery is decent considering its rich and bright screen.
Jet doesn't come with IM application as yet. IM app is something like a chat s/w. eg. ICQ.
Widgets can be added/removed from the widget screen. New widgets, although not many as yet, can be downloaded from websites.

on homescreen, I notice thin white line at the side near widgets arrow....
u guyz can apply any wallpaper with black color and see and plz tellme if white line on leftside is there in ur phone too ?
