Well i have used the Mass storage and pc studio, and when i use it, the phone turns Off, and i have lost some Calls or read late the SMS , which is bad, because if i transfer a movie of 800megabytes, during the transfer I am unreachable :( is there anyway to turn around this problem?????

Can you disable the keyboard sound when typing a message? the key stroke? I found that i can disable the phone sounds, but that will turn off every sound and not just the keyboard. It will disable apps or the turn of sound or slide to unlock.
I just want to disable the sound of the keyboard while writing a message.

By the way, is your battery during long time?
Mine got 2 days i think. I disabled the vibrating while typing or messing around with the phone, brightness to the lowest level, turned of UMTS...let's see if i can get more time of battery.

Gama you can do the latest software update via PC Studio. Voda said they were sending out the latest software but after taking someones advise here, I updated the software last night myself using the PC Studio and the phone appears to be working tip top! My emails and 360 are working good now. It has worked for some (see the Voda forums) but not for all. Unfortunately it wont do anything about the 3 message tones lol

Anonymous, you should already have the YouTube app installed on your phone and if it is saying you need flash, then there may be a software issue on your phone. Also try updating the software, if that dont work you may need to return it for an exchange.

> In reply to K @ 2009-11-20 11:32 from MfxMI thought the problem was in the equipment, then i went to Vodafone, and they took note of these cumplaints, and registered it on their task team so they can improve the software, the lady on the shop, told that vodafone is colecting every all the data that users give and feedback so they can change as soon as possible the firmware.
I showed them about wallpaper or the 3 ringtones or choosing by the song to atribb to a contact etc, and they got admired and tkx for the advise , there are many features that employees in vodafone arent aware, about problems or handicap on this software . so every time we found a new problem , its a good thing to post on their foruns

Well after knowing that my prblems are general, i've got relivied, and now i am enjoyng more this phone because i know they are working on its improvement.
And a firmware is being worked.

Thanks again Alex for the PC Studio tip, upgrade done and all going well on the phone!!! :) Not sure about the silver looking cheap, I thought the silver one looks lovely and the black looks cheap lol But its all about personal taste :)

Hi Gama, a lot of things are about getting used to the phone. I used Nokia for about 10 years and therefore to go onto Samsung and finding things are different took some time getting used to. If you take into consideration the points you have raised against the excellent qualities the phone has, the small flaws are something you easily get used to. I was looking for a way to customise the message tone and set uo wallpaper, but after surfing the net, playing with the apps, etc.., I forgot about the smaller issues!

Im sure you will enjoy the phone after you get used to it more.

Got one yesterday!
Well, internet by wifi even with 360º on ,get crash after minutes of websurf.
U only have 3 tones for SMS, cant change or add more tones.
The lock is after some seconds and u cant disable like iphone.
The sounds or pictures , u cant assign quickly to ringtone or contact, u must go to the contact and select the ringtone or picture, and u must scroll by 16 gigs of songs i u have them...imagine finding a song in thousands :s there is no Search!
Then if u use Search on the right button , u cant use the search and use it with contact .
There are no Wallpapers to set..impossible!
The Call button doesn-t show Missed calls , etc etc unless u choose the category one by one....:(
When conecting to PC...the phone is shut down, u cant do any with it, calls sms etc... :(

i know that that these are bad things, but i hope that they solve this quickly, because this phone has a lot of potential and so cool....i dont want to give it back :(

This phone is top notch for movies, considering its AMOLED screen, 800x480 resolution, very loud speaker, fast 600Mhz CPU. Brilliant for Podcast audio/video free download from iTunes. Video file name has to be changed from m4v to mp4 BEFORE transfer to phone or it won't play.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-11-19 22:52 from 0r1{The Vodafone server has been up and down all day here in the NL.

If this H1 relies on that, then I think you may have problems ...

I am sticking with a phone that has Symbian or WinMo and can install what apps I like.

The more I read about new phones the happier I am with my i8510 INNOV8 which works perfect!!

Too bad Samsung couldn't have made the screen on the Innov about 3.7 inches.

> In reply to M20 @ 2009-11-19 16:04 from n%nFI use Route 66 almost daily for Navigation..

I was looking forward to using this H1 as Nav because of the great screen.

then I see its on a LiMO operating system. Not bad but still it has kept me from buying this phone.

The rest of the phone is topnotch.

Today I took a look at this phone and it's qiute impressing. Very nice feautures.. I can say that it's the new I-phone, but a lot better. The Vodafone 360 makes the phone great. The 360 is totally new, it makes the communication very up to date with hyves, twitter, facebook and more..)

The only thing is, it will get more fun after more people use the 360.

> In reply to Alex2006 @ 2009-11-19 15:30 from 0psaAlex thanks mate, i'll def give this a try tonight. Basically I need to get a firmware update so I can sort out my email issue. Vodafone have been really good and are trying to help but I thought if I can get the update myself it may be a quicker option. I'll download PC Studio tonight do my update :)

> In reply to K @ 2009-11-19 15:15 from MfxMK, originally I had same error message saying my phone was not fully charged. Actually I left the USB connected for the whole night therefore it should be fully charged. I switched it off and back on, then the PC studio upgraded my phone without any complaints.

I think the error itself is a bug and hopefully this upgrade fixes this;)

> In reply to Alex2006 @ 2009-11-19 14:21 from 0psaFair enough. People have been trying these updates themselves with no sucess (please see Vodafone forums). If you said it worked for you, 'll give this a try with a fully charged phone, fingers cross it works.
