I have this phone for a few days now. This is a nice phone from SE, best design so far. I don't really have much complain of it. It comes with a fast 8 GB micro SDHC, about 10 MB/s writing, and more than 15 MB/s read speed. That's pretty fast :)
What I don't like from Aino:
1. I've charged and discharged the battery twice, but the power seems runs out to fast, only last for a day with relatively heavy usage. Maybe it will last longer after a few more charge.
2. I don't believe gsmarena review for the camera quality. It suffer too much of highlight clipping, and detail washed out by the noise reduction. Color is good, but contrast and detail are bad. My wife Nokia 6700 gives better detail and resolution despite of being 5 Mp cam.
3. Keypad too flat, it is hard to feel the key you want to press, I often press the other surrounding key.
4. Occasionally slow response, start-up also slow.
Other than that, it is a good phone, but a bit too pricey. Fyi my previous camera is SE K850i.

Compare to Samsung Jet, I would still choose SE Aino. Messaging in Samsung Jet is even worst, definitely not better than Aino. Unless it is as responsive as HTC Android device or iPhone, then the messaging would be a easy. A bit confusing too.
SE is known for its fast interface, although very simple, it doesn't lag. But I heard from others, the media sometimes laggy but during my on-hand testing, it was okay.

what about it compared to the samsung jet?
i cant decide which one to choose, the aino looks cool and i like the features,but keypad is worrying.
if only it had optional keypad or touch screen msging!
Does the ph ever lag? and is it pretty fast when opening apps?

This phone rocks, the design is really cool! I tried it but messaging is a punishment.
Good:
Cool nice design
well built
16M colors
Bad:
Difficult to type message, the keypad is too low and almost at the bottom edge.
limited touch screen.

it sounds really cool! just waiting for the demo to come out here this week then i can feel it in my hands! is it possible to watch movies etc while its in the charging unit? use it as a stand.
does facebook work nicely on this ph, i know it says it has a fb app. is it good?

i bought it black version from sony ericsson store!
sound quality is exxcellent through bluetooth headphone as well as in a loud speaker. picture quality is excellent. better than k810 & k850,w995! video recor. it has an hd video recording! & touch screen only works for multimedia & internet! we also receive call in a touch sensitive mode! overall it is a my dream phone!

hi guys im struggling to decide between the aino and the samsung jet. each comes with 8gig memory, but aino has better camera. are the aino keypad buttons close to eachother? or are they easy to use? can i type a msg with touchscreen? or when the phone is closed select a app to use?
please help guys! i just cant decide!!

the se aino is a full on multimedia monster..though while i was using it i didnt like the touch screen 2 much.se is supposed to be comin with an update soon so that will take care of that..the camera is simply amazing..the keypad is quite comfortable..the ps3 syncing is beautiful.the media home software makes life simple.i find it a little expensive but the prices should fall..all in all a good phone!!(price $500-$550)

Do you have to open the slider and press the send button to answer the call or can you answer a call with the handset closed?
