Compare to Samsung Jet, I would still choose SE Aino. Messaging in Samsung Jet is even worst, definitely not better than Aino. Unless it is as responsive as HTC Android device or iPhone, then the messaging would be a easy. A bit confusing too.
SE is known for its fast interface, although very simple, it doesn't lag. But I heard from others, the media sometimes laggy but during my on-hand testing, it was okay.

what about it compared to the samsung jet?
i cant decide which one to choose, the aino looks cool and i like the features,but keypad is worrying.
if only it had optional keypad or touch screen msging!
Does the ph ever lag? and is it pretty fast when opening apps?

This phone rocks, the design is really cool! I tried it but messaging is a punishment.
Good:
Cool nice design
well built
16M colors
Bad:
Difficult to type message, the keypad is too low and almost at the bottom edge.
limited touch screen.

it sounds really cool! just waiting for the demo to come out here this week then i can feel it in my hands! is it possible to watch movies etc while its in the charging unit? use it as a stand.
does facebook work nicely on this ph, i know it says it has a fb app. is it good?

i bought it black version from sony ericsson store!
sound quality is exxcellent through bluetooth headphone as well as in a loud speaker. picture quality is excellent. better than k810 & k850,w995! video recor. it has an hd video recording! & touch screen only works for multimedia & internet! we also receive call in a touch sensitive mode! overall it is a my dream phone!

hi guys im struggling to decide between the aino and the samsung jet. each comes with 8gig memory, but aino has better camera. are the aino keypad buttons close to eachother? or are they easy to use? can i type a msg with touchscreen? or when the phone is closed select a app to use?
please help guys! i just cant decide!!

the se aino is a full on multimedia monster..though while i was using it i didnt like the touch screen 2 much.se is supposed to be comin with an update soon so that will take care of that..the camera is simply amazing..the keypad is quite comfortable..the ps3 syncing is beautiful.the media home software makes life simple.i find it a little expensive but the prices should fall..all in all a good phone!!(price $500-$550)

Do you have to open the slider and press the send button to answer the call or can you answer a call with the handset closed?

hey right now m usin w910i...now i want to shift to aino just for the camera and music options.so guys who r already usin it please tell me if this LEd flash is effective enough in a relatively darker room.i know dat it can take gud pictures in natural light i just want to know if its still effective in closed rooms,halls ....n abt da external memory.how much is da ext memory?

the aino looks like a great phone.i think the lagging media menu are the prototypes as seen on youtube. hopefully SE has perfected it. Full touch could be out soon if SE plans to do so with their firmware upgrade. hope this helps. anyone wants 2 get the phone cheap contact by email at rao_tech@yahoo.com

i really interested with this phone..but the price too high 4 me as a student..i love the design..its perfect..i love it..but this phone is limited touch screen..and the internal memory just only 55mb..if this phone come out with fully touch screen it should be interesting and perfect..i just only have one question to ask.. why the phone too thick??

i also bought this phone last month. it cost me only 24000 /- it has a brilliant camera ,better than c905 & w995 & it proves in various sites! u check it in phone-arena.com! its sound quality is also better than all the walk-man phones! amazing wireless headphone. big 3 inch screen. i uploaded couple of movies on my cell & it looks fantastic on screen! brilliant Sony! i am big Sony fan. this is my 4th phone. earlier i use k series phones ! but i thunk it is better than 12 MEGAPIXEL! LOVE SONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got the aino last week for 23,900INR,
and i will give u example....
nokia n86 price is 21,600..it has 2.6 screen only,
aino has 3 inch screen...aino comes with bluetooth headset worth of 3,000.... and it gives u great sound quality,great connectivity,amazing picture quality,awesome camera and finally it is a touch screen phone.....
SE rocks....
