And this phone got a very nice speaker. A bit low and soft but perfect. Nice design but the build is not of good quality. I have a black c510. The gray stripes is only painted and fades/chips easily. This phone is designed NOT to last. Take that. The user interface is very nice and intuitive (beats nokia). And the screen is very impressive (beats some 16m colors screen out there). That goes to say that 16m colors TFT is not everything. The music quality is a mixed bag. Very boosted bass which is most of the time is nice but some times a bit stuffy. I would have preferred a more natural sound but this phone would be just like any other phone. (Just buy another headset). Take this phone for what it is. Dont get your hopes too high on the camera performance of this phone. If only SE could improve the flash. And this phone is not that affordable. You have to buy an m2 card, and another headset if you're into music. Consider the accessories when you buy.

My phone is starting to hang & the screen 'blacking out'. I have the latest software version & I kept the phone memory free of user files. And this phone is very slow at times. To the guys unsure about the camera performance, this phone is pretty average. Very nice still/macro shots but very pathetic moving/night/portrait shots. The colors are very good but how can you appreciate it when its all blurry and dark? Try taking a pic of a dog's wagging tail and know what i'm talking about. Flash is useless too. BTW, Opera Mini is very fast. In fact i'm using my phone in this post.

the c510 is one of the worst se phones i have used for arnd $250-$300..sadly sony hasn't even given this phone a propper camera!!it is the most pathetic camera..the flash is not at all affective..it doesn't really seem like a 2mp camera also!!i do not think this phone phone is a good buy..other things like accelerometer,motion gaming,etc. are good..

Amazing phone! Other than being slightly laggy, amazing none the less. I've had this phone for about 6 months now, but sadly it has been stolen. ): I'm now looking forward towards purchasing a new one. This phone has put up with my clumsiness, been through slight water damage (Fixed it myself!), and has been sat on repeatedly. Pretty durable phone I must say. For a phone set at a price for less than $200 USD, it is quite a deal for what you get. Camera quality is alright. When taking pictures with poor lighting, the result isn't amazing. Other than the quality when shooting pictures in low-lighting, nothing is wrong with this phone.

What's with all this comments? I have this phone and its awesome!! I have it for almost 5 months now! Camera quality is really good with such realistic colors and good contrast!! Night shots aren't the best but still acceptable especially with its PhotoFix feature! The phone is really really stable and I never ever had a single hang, freeze, or restart! Music on this phone is good too! The user interface is really one of the best! And the threaded SMS is such a cool feature! Internet is really fast aswell as uploading! The Facebook app is really great and the stepcounter and all that are awesome!! FlashLite themes are really amazing on this phone too!! The phone also looks really sexy and sleek! I really really recommend this phone! It has everything packed in it and will keep you entertained! It's really really awesome!!

I dont have any of the problems,users under my post talking about! I have it 2 mounths and it never hangs...im trying to remember but nothing...even once,hmmm no! Camer quality on my device and in my opinion is great for 3,2mpx camera! This phone is cheap...please remember that! Screen is great,music player is amazing with better headphones,baterry is good too! I love 6 amazing themes! Phone is just amazing,i have black color and it looks great,i love it! Anyone can buy this phone! SE rocks!!

Bull Sh*t phone
camera quality is very bad it seemd it is below vga quality
i have used it picture taken with this cel is not clear and become distored upon zooming
if any body is trying to buy this cel plz dont buy its useless to buy such a low camera quality phone.

Ive just bought a nokia 6303 classic for my sister. Actually, my first choice was Sony Ericsson Naite but having seen its build quality, i changed my mind and went for 6303 instead. Although the camera is not at the top of its priorities, 6303 got a dual led flash thats really WORKING unlike c510 where its flash is a total disgrace/failure (and that's coming from a cybershot-branded phone). I've been waiting for a software update to fix this problem but i think that aint coming. I guess it a wake up call for me that there are phones that can give better value for my money. Time to try out other phones. I'm really really disappointed with the flash & nightshots of C510.

I purchased this phone in FEB 2009, the music player is good with HPM77 Headset, the camera is good in daylight only, inside home pics in tubelight conditions is very poor, the flash is no help, gprs browsing is good, good display, sunlight visibility very poor( Nokia is the best in sunlight) very soft keypad, fast software,no themes in zedge, worst drawback, the call quality is very poor, no clarity in voice calls, take a call in the street and you can not hear the words clearly , no good looks, I have lost faith in sony ericsson, the earlier phones like W700i, W810i could take pics in poor light with flash and the pics would come good and had good call quality. If you want to waste money buy this phone.
