GPS needs little assistance from the network, reason may be lack of GPS signal strength!!????????????? (im living in Colombo, Sri Lanka)

This phone is really great. By default it's a solid, good phone with some little quirks. After a quick and easy firmware update with Sony Ericsson Update Service it all gets much better. Your phone gets faster, GPS gets better, in general, everything is perfect. GPS works fine (with and without connection), any app (including youtube) can work over WiFi, everything is just perfect!
Now, if you're like me and you want a little more, you can do some hacks yourself aswell! With some little research it's easy to find how to enable chat-style message view and stuff like that on your phone! (se-nse.net is a good place to start!)

Yes your g705 has megabass.
go to option on on your mp3 and then select settings...equalizer and you'll see MEGABASS thereon.

PS. if you are not satisfied with your media player, I suggest that you download WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER. This app looks and works the same as the WMP in your PC.

if ur wifi connexion is already ok, you may now open ur youtube app, the internet, or other apps using the net such as opera mini and bolt lite.
are you in the phils? then try to connect ur wifi inside a mall wherein there is SM free wifi.
