- How's the battery life ?
- Does it look good and has a good built quality, especially with the slider ?
- Is the GPS working smoothly ?

I just got my G705 today! its a great phone =)
i got mine for 365 CAD or 2300HK
the thing that would be missing for me is touchscreen. That would be a nice feature to it!

Btw, SE G705 does not include an auto setting for the flash light. It is either set to ON of OFF only.

I just bought the G705. Right now I'm having an issue where when I receive a text message...the alert sound doesn't play, the message icon on top doesn't show, nor the new events window doesn't pop up. I'm basically not notified in ANY way that I just got a message. I'll only realize that I have a message when I manually check and it says "Inbox (1)"
Anyone else having this issue?

Now I'm stuck between this phone and the Nokia N82...I only found one review that compared the two and they're supposedly supposed to be rival phones...does anyone have any hands on experience between the two and can tell me which would be he better overall phone? I guess in terms of lag speed, internet speed, and camera quality of I had to be specific...thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey guys i bought one phone recently, it has no brad name, nothing to identify whom the maker was, poor quality, poor sound, what a regret for me to spend my money on it, well i want to resale it to buy the sony g705, if anyone is interested in buying it plz contact me, or else i will destroy it in due time, welcome sony g705 i am going to grab u soon, u are my favourite always

It would be the perfect phone if only it had an auto-focus camera.
Now I am not sure if I'm going to buy it. Does the auto-focus affect picture quality? Do the photos taken without auto-focus seems blurry?

i thought the phone is not released yet.
i am very much looking forward to its release in india.
ok i hav a few questions. please answer them.
1. how loud is its sound through the speakers?
2. does it hav a video call camare, some sites say it does not?
3. how good is the photo clarity?
4. is the sliding mechanism stable?
5. does the wi-fi work smoothly, i heard it disconnects after 3 hrs?
6. is the gps smooth?
plz answer as much as you can.
am waiting to get the answers.

Hey guys, i just got this phone. It is really good. Has a very fast operating system, the scren is nice and big. Its easy to use internet despite it not being a touch screen. Battery is super long. I am actually very impressed. It is also alot smaller and nicer than i thought it would be. I had a nokia 8801, and a nokia sirrocco, and it was dissapoining each time, especially with the dust under the screen and poor reception. I have reception pretty much everywhere on the sony g705. I bought it from timtechs.com, it came in one day!
