when i recieved calls i could barely hear the other person because of very bad reception, but otherwise a very good phone.

yer this fone is pretty bad....after owning the fone 4 about six months the screen would blank often, the joystick wouldn't work, the speakers were stuffing up, it wouldnt charge properly and on occasions the fone would turn off even with full battery.

its one of my big mistake to buy this phone. great phone with loads of features, worth for the money u give. untill it starts giving problems. low batt, horrible joystick, software problems etc. all even before it completes its 1st aniversary. plz dont buy. its not worth untill all the above problems r fixed by SE.

The phone is nice; i'm a SE lover so.... but I would change phone soon, bad joystick, already reapired. It was like new, but after a while same problems.... Please avoid the joysticks or just make functional ones!!!!

Hi Guys,
I am using this set from past 1.5 years & till now i hve not faced any major problem except poor battery backup. For this basic model very good features they hve provided like GPRS,MMS,WAP,Infrared.
Most frequently i will be using GPRS fecility. But only one drawback that we cannot download nay "Games".
Those who are interested to buy this set can go instad of J230i.

I am already Sony_Ericson lover from 688,2618,t200 to t68i and I have bought this mobile yesterday.
It's very nice and light but there is no screen saver!!!
So In standby mode it becomes like it is off or shutDown!!!
this option already found in all old models but not in this one

ya, my mobile joystick used to jam but when i gave it to the mobile repair to clean it, it really does work. now its the same new phone.
i wish if this had a camera. this phone is awesome. i been using since the last 9 months. there is some problem with the hanging but its sometimes. well every cell phone does.

the best alarm clock i ever had. not to mention its a really great phone too... infrared with calendar poly and anice display too. what more could you ask for?

i love this phone i got it for 45$US but they could have replaced the joystick thing with 4 arrows(like nokia) for faster navigation.and the joystick has a hard edge hence my nick. the screen is too bright at night(cant turn the backlight off) they could have improved on the scheduler and add repetitive tasks.

I personally like this phone. As its just unsomparable with any other phone in its range,... Noone wud give irda,gprs and stuff just for 3000rs,... Its weight is just much lite,.. i can't guess y others complainin like tis,.. but ofcourse the system is bit slow compared wid others,... got to compromise wid something na,.. I pledge its just awesome in its segment.

Hm!, Without telling lies, i will tell everybody that i regret bying this phone because it get spoilt at the third week of it purchase without a solution. my advice for everybody is to sell this phone out if they are having it and if they are not, Pleas Don't Buy IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
