the phone is nice and easy to work with.but just the battery is not good.the camera is good compared to nokias camera of 2 mp.

Bought this phone last week for a very low price and so far I like it very much. My only complaints are the battery is not that good 'cause I have to charge it everyday and all I do is text and nothing else. Aside from that, it also hangs sometimes which makes me a little nervous. But other than those complaints, it's a great phone.

Then open My computer-properties-Device manager-Modems-Sony Ericsson Mobile device
Right click on it
Choose Properties
Go to diagnostics, click on Query Modem
Then it will show AT success.
That means your modem is connected and working properly.
Then go to Advanced Tab
Under Extra initialization commands
Type
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","aircelgprs" for aircel sim card, for your sim card write your APN name instead of it.
Then go to network and sharing centre
New dial up connection
name: aircel
dial no.: *99***1#, This setting is for aircel users. If you want any other help please visit my blog

Hello frnz
Im using this phone since 5 months in second month after purchasing it i take it to to S.E service center to re install its software but now it works properly. Another bad thing is that it does not sup port themes which we downloaded through web.
It has good internet speed and i like it orange light behind its keys.but its screen brightness is low as compare to other s.e phones.

Hi!
I have an S312 phone and i can't use the internet of this phone. I checked the accounts, it has MMS, Internet, and 2 GPRS. Everytime i try to open the browser, it says "Network Error". What will i do? Please help me. Thanks. :)

The S312 is a dedicated phone that features the same things as a Acatel OT - 800. The phone is unique and very organised. Although the storage is very low and the themes have to bre in the theme place cannot be downloaded
Out of ten about a 6 a general phone.
But the missing four parts are due to no Wifi no 3g therefor the internet is slow and no instant messaging so i had to download it from Parlingo and add it to my menu which wasted some of my precious small memory! Overall it is very good with the easy to use keyboard system. PS. Could have been better if a windows smartphone and a QWERTY keyboard

Totally agree with 'blue'. Can't imagine why people would be saying that this phone is a waste of money. I reckon they have too high expectations of a phone that is going for this price. It is NOT a smartphone and neither is it being marketed as such. In my view the battery life is completely comparable to other phones and there's nothing wrong with it. I love the orange backlight behind the keys - it's unique and not many phones have that. Themes, pics, music etc. can easily be bluetoothed to the phone if people are having problems downloading. Can't see why people are saying that they can't change themes. Also, I'd rather pay attention to the posts written by people who are actually capable of spelling.....

This is a very nice phone and I don't agree with the majority of comments. If you want perfect pictures, buy a camera not a lower-end cell phone. Keyboard is great and sound is perfectly fine. No hanging on my phone. Furthermore, it is by far the most beautiful phone I've ever owned, and I've had many. I love the sophistication in Sony Ericsson phones, e.g. always being given the option whether you want to save something on the phone or on the sim card. Other phones just don't have that. Yes memory not huge but then get a memory card. My phone came with earphones included. LOVING this phone!
