I purchased s312 for my cousin in august 2010 in lucknow.It comes without memory card and data cable for Rs 4200 and with 1gb card and data cable for Rs 4800.Phone is not user friendly.Sound is good but camera quality is pathetic.Memory card m2 supports only sony mobiles and its price is more than double of that of micro sd.

Hi.
i had purchased this model from ebay. Dawn blue in colour. However it didnt come with the earpiece and memory card. but the price of the phone was cheap.
Bought this phone for my mother. i have used over 50 phone models. and ya, from my personal experiences, this phone is just right for someone who do not need a good camera/media player.
the camera is pretty bad for a 2mp. sound quality is not there compared to my other sony phones.
However, the best thing is it is pretty user friendly and the screen is not too bad. Battery life is quite good compared to my blackberry bold 9000.
So, i shall repeat myself. Get this phone if :
1. You do not need a good camera/video cam
2.If you do not need a wonderful media player
3. Loves User friendly interface.
4. Lazy person to charge phone as battery life is good
5. Heavy usage person on phones. It can last =)
6. SMS is very simple even with sony's dictionary.

A bad mobile, stylish but not useful.
Battery life is only 1 day.
Camera is complaint.
Camera related flash etc are also complaint.
I buy the same before one month..... this is a too bad phone
Why sony manufactured this type of phone.
I lost my Rs.4900/-
Sony need to replace all this model mobiles. This become complaint within one month.

im using (S312)phone for almost 1mo.
soft/smooth key pad,
you can't type messages quickly, 2 slow..
this is very slow working, it hangs very much ;(
short battery time only last 1.5 day,
no recordings while speaking,
very low sound,
no zooming option in camera.
I suggest 2 all people who are planning 2 buy S312 - please dont go for this model.

just bought this phone, REALLY disappointed, my K750i was SOO much better, cant hear incoming callers voice..soo quiet its not really a phone at all, more a txt and music player, although NO earphones supplied, no usb cable supplied, and no memory card supplied..
honestly avoid this phone.... :-(
