I own the phone for couple of days now and to be honest, I am in love with it. Been browsing the net for a while and I bumped into several complaints about the design, transfer rate, sound (wtf) etc and I can pretty much say that they are non-exsisting.
First off, the phone looks amazing and handles easily. It reminds me of my old K310i. The design is slick and stylish and it's kinda uber even if you aren't looking for phone this pretty.
The overall quality of content (in terms of options and programs) is pretty decent considering the insanely cheap prize (got it for 50 euros from T-Mobile deal). The sound is excellent and I can always hear even the message alert in a crowded place. Though if put on maximum the speaker starts to "choke on itself" still it's great quality for a walkman phone. And if you put the headphones on... well, lets just say SonyErricsson are unbeaten in this field. Just freaking awesome.
The only complaint I have is due to two things. First comes the camera which is great, though lacks auto-focus and if you have drank a little bit (or been freezing your ass outside on the cold), and if your hands are shaky by default, you will be getting a lot of blurry pictures. The second thing I like to point out is the rather weird implementation of connectivity (everything goes through the same port: sound, power jack, even freaking USB).
Notice I have mentioned the Wi-fi option. It's one of the reasons why this phone is just uber. You can pretty much download and do all sort of crazy things (the browser is responsive and very easy to use) while hooked up online, so, ehm... WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FROM A PHONE?

hi I just bought sonny Ericsson W705, I have connect with internet already but why I can't use YOUTUBE it can not see anything at all . please help me !!!!thank alot.

If the sound is not very loud you can allways change the sounds driver on your SE because is very easy !!! Just download XS++ It work for me ;)

Es un movil increible, solo que la camara hay que sostenerla muy firme y sin mover para que la fotografia salga perfecta!
pero todo lo demas me gusta mucho!
90% recomendable!
